“The DBT Center of Silicon Valley has changed my life for the better. When I started, I was in a horrible place with my trauma and BPD. DBT has opened my eyes to the possibility of a life not controlled by my emotions or by toxic relationships. This program gives you all the tools to learn and succeed, but you need to really work the program and put the time in. The therapists are all extremely compassionate and knowledged, and they do everything they can to make individual/group sessions as informative, inclusive, and safe as possible. It is expensive, but if your insurance allows it, you can submit for a partial or full reimbursement of services and the DBT center will provide you all of the documentation to do so. I finished my first round of DBT late last year and plan to go back for their trauma program sometime this year. I seriously could not recommend this program enough.”

I came for these but the cutting edge machines that couple science with spiritual energy work are amazing! I was dubious, but I am a believer now! “I've been to their cafe before and my husband has been to the restaurant and has been wanting to take me, so we went to celebrate his birthday here. Located close to the Los Gatos downtown and across from Los Gatos High, you'll find this Mediterranean gem. We started off with wine and appetizers. I got Assyrtiko white wine from Santorini and hubby got a red wine. My white wine was really nice and I fully enjoyed it. For starters we got Saganaki (pan seared cheese) and Soutzoukakia (lamb and beef meatballs) as well as some pita bread. I must say the starters were the stars of the night for me! The lamb/meatballs were so tasty and flavorful and the sauce that they were sitting on was delicious and nice to have with the pita bread as well. The Saganaki was delicious as well. I love cheese and this was perfection! For main course, I got the petite lamb chops. I would have liked them to be cooked a little more than what they were. They did not ask how I would have liked them cooked so I thought they would be a little more cooked than what they were. It was probably a medium but i'm more of a medium well person. So that was a bit of a bummer...I felt like I wasted a lot of meat because it was undercooked for my liking. My husband got the 16oz rib eye steak and enjoyed his. The service was good and our waiter Jacob ( I think was his name) was very attentive and gave us suggestions when we asked.”

“I found Dr. Rencher when 5 of my neighbors, one by one, handed me her business card as they saw me limping in severe pain, using my golf club as a cane for months. When 5 people recommend the same doctor, I thought I’ve to meet this woman. I had never seen a chiropractor before, but I was impressed with her analysis and honesty. She took time to explain the various types of disc injuries helped with chiropractic and which were better served with surgery. She agreed with the surgeon, mine was a surgical case. However, since my surgeon told me, I would not be able to return to golf, even after the surgery(!) I told Dr. Rencher that surgery was not an option for me. Dr. Rencher was hesitant and warned me if I chose chiropractic that due to the severity of my disc injury it would be a longer course of care. I stuck with the plan of chiropractic care and exercise. It took dedication on my part because my friends and family were leery of my decision. But after seeing my ability to return to golf and FREE OF PAIN… they all (friends, my children and eventually grandchildren) decided to see her for care!”
