“Excellent organization. High quality musical instruction that's enjoyable for the boys. From a music-learning perspective, a real bargain since there are also weekly theory classes in addition to weekly rehearsals. They both now know more music theory than I can remember (and I played piano and violin for 12 years). The directors have a magical way with boys--I find it impressive that they can direct all that energy into the creation of such beautiful music. Both my boys sang in the choir (one still does) and they always leave in the best mood. I have always been surprised that they like this option as much (or even better) than the svarious sports they play in.”

“During normal times, New Mozart music lessons are spectacular. These days, we are grateful our daughter has been able to continue her classes remotely with the same quality and care as during face-to-face classes. The online format has worked very well for us. It is remarkable the growth we've seen in our daughter's musical abilities over the spring and summer. At four years old, she is not only singing in solfege and playing several songs on the piano, but she also enjoys writing her own music for fun. We are very happy with New Mozart and her wonderful teacher, Valerie!”

“My son loves his teachers (Ms. Helen) and the director (Gabby), who provide a really positive environment for the kids. Ms. Helen is very experienced and is a bright and loving presence for the kids. My son immediately gravitated to her and enjoys being around her. I am also grateful to Gabby who has also gone out of her way to help my husband and I understand more about how our son is building relationships with the other kids, and makes herself available if we have any questions about how our son is doing. I highly recommend this preschool, and am very grateful to Ms. Helen and Gabby for providing such a great place for our children.”

“As a parent of one Kehillah graduate and one current student, I am extremely impressed with the school. I feel that Kehillah does a superb job of creating a true school community where students feel valued as individuals. The curriculum is second to none; yet the homework load is manageable and teachers are very responsive to students and parents.”

“I love this place, but more importantly my little man does. We've been in the infant and toddler rooms, and have received excellent care in each. The staff is wonderful, they teach the kiddos so much and are even helping my toddler learn to eat. The facility is great too, lots of play space that is kept tidy and a nice playground outside as well! They do arts and crafts and take group pictures too, just adorable!”

“Our family loves PNS! We feel cared, welcomed, and loved! We can't speak enough of the good things of PNS, huge beautiful yard, countless toys, creative art projects, story times, music circle times, cute chicken and guinea pigs! The teachers are making sure all the kids are having everything they need for their development, and parents are helping each other like a truly caring community. What is the most grateful under the current pandemic, is that the school board and parents are working hard to make sure our kids' safeness, so that's why we haven't had a single spread out within our community.”

“Our son has been going to Palo Alto Montessori for the last two years and we could not be happier with the school. It is now time for our son to move on to Kindergarten and we know that he brings a fantastic foundation with him from his time at PAM. The school director and head teacher Dinesh and his staff made it very easy for him to adjust to the new school from the beginning, providing a welcoming, caring and inclusive environment. We love the Montessori program and how it is brought to life at PAM by Dinesh and his staff. Our son is more on the quiet and reserved side, but over the last two years he has gained confidence and is comfortable speaking up. We love the fact that the school places a lot of value on social skills, time for play and respect for each other, in addition to learning letters, numbers, etc. Dinesh does a wonderful job keeping us regularly updated about the progress of our son, and during each 1:1 he has been providing extremely valuable insights about our son at school. The school is small and very well run, clean and organized, with great activities throughout the year. We will definitely miss this fantastic school and can wholeheartedly recommend it to other parents! Thank you very much, Dinesh and Palo Alto Montessori School!”

“Great team of staff! The students are great too. I can tell most of the reviews below are kids reviewing and talking mostly about lockers and bathrooms. I came from a different school district and I can definitely appreciate for many things that happen at this school. People just need to experience different things to really understand and appreciate what they have. A middle school is definitely a place to be exposed to new open doors and opportunity so that the students really advance in high school. Really proud of JLS. A team where they strive to get better each year is definitely a happy place to work at for me.”

“From the moment my daughter met these teachers when she was just 5 years old, she knew this was the school she wanted to go to. She is now 8 years old, in the 3rd grade and will still tell you this is the only school she wants to go to! It is an extremely nurturing environment where every day moments become teaching moments; I love how these teachers find a way to find connections in all that the children do to not only strengthen their understanding but give them the lifelong skillset of making relational connections on their own. This school isn’t about forcing children to conform to a set of standards or a strict plan but is about bending the education to fit how children learn best. In the early years it really is about providing a safe trusting environment where children are comfortable trying new things and secure enough to know it is ok to have to try several times before they really master it. A warm nurturing atmosphere, integrated studies including theater performances, music, yoga, art and the philosophy that each student is a scientist in their own right with questions to be asked and explored. As the children transition from lower elementary to upper you will see how the foundation the teachers have built for the students really supports them as they evolve into a more academic (still very hands on/explorative) phase of learning.”

“Very diverse student base! My children are friends with children from all over the world. What an extraordinary experience. Teachers are top notch. My children cam from a private school in Missouri and were substantially behind in Math and a few other subjects. I am amazed daily at the extra measures the teachers are willing to take in order to bring my children up to speed. They really tailor their teaching to the student. It is quite remarkable!!!”

“Our son who is now 5 has been going here since he just turned 2. He has naturally been reading since he was 2 and is very focussed so we wanted him to attend a pre school where he could "free play". For him Heffalump has helped him in many ways more than one. It is such a warm environment for any child to thrive. The teachers Minakshi, Barbara, Natalya and Craig are wonderful people who really genuinely love children and root for their growth; they nurture them is such a loving way. Each teacher brings in their own strength and combined - they form a great team. They build confidence in each child, and let kids be kids. Do not be fooled by the building (which is an old Palo Alto building setting) as you enter. Spend some time understanding how kids are loved and made to thrive in this wonderful pre-school. It is a no fuss, non fancy place - unlike most schools in the area. It is a home away from home. Kids rarely get sick as they are taught how to wash hands and taught how to be independent. Wonderful place!”

“Our son has been attending milestones for almost a year now and we love it. He has acquired fantastic skills in managing his emotions, conflict resolution, and socialization in general. We are impressed with the genuine care and level of involvement of their teachers, and we feel lucky we found such a wonderful place.”

“This is a fantastic daycare and school. The children have lots of outside time, about 1 hour, 2 times a day. They have two playgrounds, and they put up giant shade sails in the summer for extra shade. The school is adjacent to Greer Park, and the older kids also go there from time to time. Each week, the kids have a music, chinese, spanish, and a movement class. The teachers use Montessori teaching methods with traditional Montessori jobs. They track each child’s progress individually and can introduce new topics when the child is ready and interested. They allow for children still learning to focus and incorporate activities that help teach focus. It really works - the children seem to be beyond their peers at other schools. I’ve seen 4 year olds blending letters into words, and I’m surprised at all the skills the children have. There is a low teacher to child ratio, compared to other schools. The teachers are great at turning the inevitable children’s social issues into teaching moments. The kids are really well behaved in general. The teachers are very tolerant about potty training, and they just request plenty of clothing and bedding to keep up with accidents. The school vacation schedule matches most employers. There are no long vacations. There is extended care if it is needed, from 7:30-6. One of their classrooms has a chinese immersion program.”

“My experience in the Stanford congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the 'Mormon' Church) has helped me find greater peace, fulfillment, and direction during one of the most challenging times of my life. Each Sunday, about 150-200 single adults (both young working professionals and students) meet at 9 am or 1 pm. Together we gather to remember the Lord, Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice for all. Uplifting sermons, interactive doctrinal discussions, and plenty of wholesome and fun social activities. Come join with us. You'll find friends, feel the spirit of the Lord, and have opportunities to serve others in the community. All visitors welcome!”

“I've been going about 8 months, my first exposure to Tai Chi. The teachers seem to have a martial arts perspective, but even if you are not interested in that perspective (I'm not particularly) it gives a certain focus and emphasis to the teaching, and you can really see the layers of learning you can acquire if you stay with it. I have noticed not that many beginners make it all the way through (it takes 5-6 months continual attendance), but there are a core of experienced attendees, and any one of them can be your teacher on a night ... even if they aren't the designated teacher for the night they are happy to emport some of their "body wisdom".”

“To be quite blunt, this academy has it all. From the exponentially friendly staff, to the coaches, who are not afraid of going the extra mile to make sure you grasp the inner workings of tennis. Not to mention the One Stop Pro Shop, where I managed to purchase tennis shoes, a racket, and have my tennis racket restrung. All of this orchestrated by an amazing team of coaches lead by Kim Grant, who played, and then coached on the Pro Tour.”
