“This is an incredibly welcoming and faithful church. God’s work is visibly carried out by their members and leadership. Lots of children, Stanford students, young adults and elders.”

“Wonderful and "truly traditional" Anglo-Catholic parish which uses the 1928 Prayer Book and celebrates a simple but orthodox liturgy with excellent preaching and timeless sacred music from a dedicated, professional choir. Anglo-Catholic worship is hard to find in the Bay area, so St. Ann Chapel, as a parish of the Anglican Province of Christ the King, is a true blessing. In addition to an interior that can only be described as an artistic treasure, St. Ann is full of the kindest and most welcoming people you are ever likely to meet!”

“Came here for a leadership workshop. It's been years since I've been here. The building is well maintained and cleaned. The staff was super nice. Although, I don't get why you serve snacks but have to stay in the foyer and only allow water in the sanctuary- makes eating the snack or drinking the coffee not such a good experience lol. But that's neither here nor there.”

“Our family has been part of The Highway Community for the past year. We've had the opportunity develop authentic relationships with folks ranging from young couples to families with young children to older empty-nesters. The lay and pastoral leadership at Highway are very accessible and generous with their time and resources. The teaching is Biblical and humorous. The after-service refreshments cannot be matched and promotes connections and the development of relationships. I encourage anyone who is looking for a church home where people will know your name and make you feel welcome while also have the resources to make significant impact on the community and the world, to come visit.”

“My experience in the Stanford congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the 'Mormon' Church) has helped me find greater peace, fulfillment, and direction during one of the most challenging times of my life. Each Sunday, about 150-200 single adults (both young working professionals and students) meet at 9 am or 1 pm. Together we gather to remember the Lord, Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice for all. Uplifting sermons, interactive doctrinal discussions, and plenty of wholesome and fun social activities. Come join with us. You'll find friends, feel the spirit of the Lord, and have opportunities to serve others in the community. All visitors welcome!”

“This is a wonderful church community. Everyone is warm and welcoming during the services and afterwards with visitors, helping to answer questions, inviting to events, etc. - it feels like a loving church home. They also have a really nice Reading Room on California Ave. in second downtown Palo Alto. Lots of easy parking in a nice neighborhood.”

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in... ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25 I hadn't eaten for four days. I was feeling tired and dizzy. It has been tough - I've been sleeping outside and it's so cold, I usually can't even fall asleep well. I felt lonely. I felt depressed. I saw online that this church gave out food for hungry people. And it was free. I couldn't afford any food, but I was hungry, so I went. Thank you for the food. Thanks to the volunteers for being nice to us. I feel there is hope when I see churches do this - to help those in need. They didn't try to get me to do religious things or be converted. (I wouldn't mind praying - but I'm just making it clear that it wasn't one of those "eat and you must convert" kind of deals). Thank you.”

“Such a warm and wonderful place to worship! I've been a member my entire life and have attended wards (congregations) in many places--it's beautiful, because the gospel is the same everywhere you go, but I certainly love the feeling I get when I attend the ward here in Palo Alto. Everyone is so welcoming! I love the chance we get to learn about Jesus Christ and his gospel from each other. I love the feeling of community. I'm grateful for the spiritual recharge I get each week from attending. I truly feel a deeper connection to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ each week. If you are looking for a place where you will feel the love of God and grow closer to him, come join us! It's a wonderful place to be! And if you want a copy of the Book of Mormon, there are free copies at the church too!”

“I have been going here for about a year and a half and I love it. They have amazing Wednesday classes for kids and on Sundays they have great Sunday School and Sunday service. I'd you want to sing in the choir you can just ask and sing. I've invited a few of my best friends and they started going regularly. I learned so much about Jesus, god, etc. This church is amazing.”
