“I’m 100% impressed with Jasmines on the Bayou!! Their food is absolutely fabulous. The chef deserves extra kudos for their amazing talent. I ordered two entrees last night and was blown away by the portions; we will definitely have leftovers for a few days. ;) Both my husband and I were taken back by the taste of every item on our plates. The taste alone gives this restaurant above 5 stars, in our opinion! Besides the food, the staff was also super friendly. I enjoy businesses where I can walk inside and not only immediately get acknowledged but more importantly where I’m also greeted with a genuine smile (big even to shine through those face masks). The cashier who assisted me did just that. In addition, she made me instantly feel at home by striking up a small friendly conversation with me, as she prepared my receipt! This is one small local restaurant who has earned my family’s business ..... for a lifetime!!! Thanks again to the amazing staff & owners @ Jasmines on the Bayou. PS....The Shrimp & Corn Soup is the very best in town, guaranteed!!!!”

“Beautiful open space in the middle of San Jose hills with many trails of varying lengths and difficulty. In the spring, beautiful wildflowers and other native plants, in including some interesting big berry manzanita with berries the size of small plums. Good bird watching (saw warblers, hummingbirds, acorn woodpeckers, and raptors while there). Nice views. Parking, water and flush toilets at parking lot.”

“Such a great park with beautiful trails. Saw tons of deers on our hike as well as a bobcat crossing in the distance- wildlife here is more than I've ever seen on any other hikes in the bay area! Also love reading all the history posts along the trails. Views were wonderful. Highly recommended!”

“Excellent park that is not too crowded. Two parking entrances on both sides of the park, bathroom facilities, and great views. The lower part of the park is filled with pretty oak trees and a great amount of shade. A good amount of wildlife (woodpeckers, squirrels, rabbits with the chance of seeing even more!) and lovely wildflowers.”

“It's so beautiful here. There's miles of hiking and beautiful views. The one problem I had was that the benches were few and far between. It's very dog friendly. It gets really hot in the summer, so it's better to come in the morning. There is a lot of shade.”
