“Fun playground to visit! It has a small hilly structure, slides, and an arch that play musical games. This playground is not fun enough for kids who like challenges or climbing; but pretty safe/big enough for them to run around. There’s no swings, sandpits, or area for smaller kids. Parking is easy to find and there’s a dog park nearby and basketball court. The playground gets busier in the evening since it’s an ideal location for people who live there.”

“Beautiful park with a great playground. The playground even has a mommy & infant swing! It also has a great walking loop. Bathrooms could use upgrades along with the parking lot.”

“Nice park. The water fountain needs a bit of improvement. Some bowl and tap would be perfect but you need to continuously press the button to dispense a little water that drains away.”

“Beautiful Park, have been going here for the past 10 years ever since moving to Sunnyvale! Giant grass fields which are perfect for any activities such as fitness. There are two playgrounds with an outdoor gym which are very nice along with a trail to stroll around on, and a dirt area which is perfect for RC cars! The redwoods are a very beautiful and it's sad to see a few of them lose pines due to drought :(”

“First time visiting this park from Out of town. Beautiful lovely park for all ages. Full of little kids and older kids playground structures. The slides are fast and fun. The ground is clean and lots of wide open space to run around. Highly recommended.”

“Fun little park with a basic (but good) structure and a couple of swings. Ground is wood chips, which is better than sand. No public bathrooms though.”
Address: 6108 Raleigh Rd, San Jose, CA 95123, USA
“A small dog park but is pretty well maintained. It has decent amount of seating and a picnic table. No shade though, so summer time would be a torture.”

“My daughter loves this place. She calls it the red park. Good for going for walks too. I even play on the structure with her sometimes. Fun park. A lot of the kids after school come here to play. I'll sometimes bring both my girls after school. Can meet some of the parents here too.”

“It's the gem of Gilroy parks and soon to include a SJ Sharks practice arena that will be open to the public I believe. That will be built in the field on the right hand side of the entrance driveway. My only issue is why a "sports park" doesn't include tennis, volleyball, pickle ball and/or handball courts??? It's literally just grass where 3 of the 4 corners are for baseball and then they paint in soccer fields in the middle. Nothing fancy but Gilroy makes sure not to waste a penny to keep the grass greener then green.”

“We visit this park on regular basis with our toddler. This park is really good with lots of swings and different slide/play structures. Also has different climbing structures with benches and picnic area for kids.”
Address: 540 W Rincon Ave, Campbell, CA 95008, USA
“This park is huge! There are two different playgrounds onsite (opposite ends of the park). Both structures have slides, climbing areas, and some kind of seesaw. One playground has a water play area with rings that spray water and a few ground sprayers. The other playground has some larger slides, small rock climbing area, spinning structures, swings, and a baby/toddler play structure. The playgrounds are connected with a nice long walking path and lots of green space to play. Some soccer classes happen in this space too. There are 3 large parking lots and each playground has it's own bathroom structure. There are lots of picnic tables and some grills too. Definitely recommend for a fun place to play and hang out with family/friends.”

“Really enjoy this park especially on Red Barn side trails to walk your dog. The uvas creek is a bonus were your dog can take a dip to cool off. The other side has a kids playground, BBQ pits with seating and lots of shade. There are many trails on both side just be careful some people do not leash their dogs which could put their dog in danger if it would run up on a dog that has aggression towards other dogs at there expense but luckily I do not have that problem with my dog. I firmly believe there is a correct way to introduce dogs to each other than having a dog run up off leash onto another dog. It's a very enjoyable park with many trails and water on both side. Yes bathrooms are available. The garlic festival is held there yearly as well. Also lots of wildflowers including poppies during April great for photography.”

“Love this park. But be warned that it is often closed when you would think that a park wouldn't be closed. So, try checking the hours before you go. But usually they're just posted on a printout paper sign at the entrance to the park. If, by chance it is open, enjoy!! So many fabulous activities for kiddos. Lots of picnic tables and nice bathrooms, as well as starving squirrels who are super friendly on the verge of aggressive”

“Sunrise Park in Gilroy is the perfect place for a family day out. This park welcomes everyone, from children to their parents, and even furry friends! With its multiple amenities, there's something for everyone. Kids can have fun on the swings, see-saws, and slides while teenagers can shoot hoops on the basketball court. Adults can enjoy playing tennis or using the exercise equipment in the back of the park. Not to mention, the large grassy area is perfect for pets to run around while children play their favorite ball games. Overall, this park is a must-visit for those looking for an enjoyable day out with their loved ones.”

“It's a great place to take a quick stroll. Quiet and peaceful. We could hear different types of birds and the sound of the water streaming down a small creek. We visited in the morning and walked all around the small park for about 30 minutes, stopping to take pictures and take in the beauty of the place. The park is nestled in the center of a nice neighborhood and so you must use street parking and walk in.”

“Excellent beginners hike with STUNNING views of the southern Bay Area. There is ample free parking at the base of the trail. Restrooms and picnic, BBQ areas as well. Park rangers provide good security here. Details regarding the hike and viewpoint follow: It’s approximately 3/4 of a mile uphill with a steep climb. Not too long but you’ll get a great leg workout going up. Once you arrive there is a view point with a looking glass. Plenty of red tailed hawks circling around. Very beautiful area. 1.5 miles round trip and if you want to extend your hike, when you come back down consider taking another one of the adjacent loops nearby. We turned this into a 5 mile hike and great workout. Highly recommended!”
