“This review is based on one experience and one meal, so take it as you will. First off, the manager and staff were so nice I felt like I was back home in the south. Secondly, the brisket sandwich was great. The lean brisket was nice and tender. The buns could be a little more toasted for a good element of crunch, but they were still tasty. The original sauce was alright. I’ve had better, but not in california. The classic jalapeño sauce was so good I bought a bottle (which they keep out and handy for purchase). I got the cornbread. Not bad. I also got onion rings, and some of them were a little under fried however they were still very tasty. They have a great batter. Overall it was a pleasant experience as a solo diner and a delicious meal. Great place to eat solo or with your family. Decent options for draft beers. Do yourself a favor and get the jalapeño sauce.”

“4 star review today. The yellow curry chicken was just great! 2 stars review 2 years ago - Been going there for 10+ years and known Bee (manager or owner) all those years. Very disappointed with the yellow curry with chicken today. It was thick, viscous and not good at all. Week earlier I tried the green curry with chicken and it chicken was bit dry. I feel bad to give a 'not good' review for a place I liked so much all these years. Sorry Bee.”

“Amazing teriyaki chicken bowl!! My family and I have been enjoying Wasabi since the original restaurant was opened in Santa Clara many years ago. Since they moved to South San Jose we haven't been able to eat here as often as we would like. We love the chicken teriyaki bowl. Always very fresh chicken and veggies. Great customer service! :)”

“Authentic korean tofu house! Kitchen and servers are korean, menu is korean and English. I got the tofu hot pot and thought since the spicy level is out of 10 (10 being something like super super spicy and 5 being just “spicy”) I got a level 5. It took me more than 45 minutes to eat it because the spicy flavor from the boiling soup and the freaking hot silky tofu just made it that difficult. Delicious. But difficult! We also got a plate of pork with some veggies- didn’t really know how to eat it so the nice server taught us and it was delicious! I’ve been here a handful of times and I will continue coming here!”

“They never disappoint and I especially appreciate that they follow directions with regards to changes/modifications to the online food orders. For example, I don't like bean burrito with lettuce. “First time coming here and it was great! The food was really tasty and was well cooked, and they had great options for people with dietary restrictions. Their tortillas, I might add, are extremely good. The front of house staff was a bit lackadaisical and almost seemed to not know what they were doing, but in the end it was all fine. They also have a small selection of beer for those wondering.”
