“SJPL is generally a great library system, and this branch, in particular, is really amazing. You can, of course, order items from throughout the system. Given that context, I think their in-branch selection makes a ton of sense and is very space-efficient. They certainly do have a large selection of English-language items, but they also have lots of Vietnanese, Spanish, and Chinese catering to the local population. They also have a large kid selection, as well as dedicated toys, play areas, and touch screens for using the provided ABCmouse membership. I really like that they have a variety of computer stations for different needs. They offer a lot of community services like events, training, etc. My only gripe is that the last time I went, the computers were cutting out every half hour or so, forcing people to log back in. It was pretty annoying, but I'm hoping that's not normal and can be addressed.”

“Lovely St. Charles County Library Branch with friendly staff and self-checkout stations. The section by the fireplace is and awesome place to sit and read. It has a large children's section and helpful librarians stationed specifically in that area to help you find new books and movies for the kiddos.”

“I was born and raised in San Jose and Seven Trees is my closest public library. I have spent my life avoiding it assuming it was “ghetto”... that was my loss for missing out on 20 years of awesomeness. Now being a mother of 2 boys I stumbled into this gem again and am totally blown away by the positive experiences. Their book selections are amazing, up to date, and easy to access for kids. The children’s area is perfect and filled with weekend programs all kids can enjoy. The programs are amazing. My 5 year old son just signed up for the Summer Reading program receiving a free book and on the way to win more prize! We also were able to redeem 4 free admission tickets to the tech museum! I am overwhelmed with joy that this library has brought. I am internally grateful. We return here weekly since my family fell in love with the Seven Trees Community”

“My emergent reader, baby and I all love our Bascom Branch Library. There are tons of books for new readers to love. ABC Mouse is on the little kid computers. There are many areas for creative play and puzzles. My baby likes the huge box of board books and we have comfortably nursed in the big armchairs. They had game night the last Friday we were there with a cart of board games.”

“I’ve always loved the library and although small, the selection of books for the little ones and adults is efficient. The staff is helpful and friendly. I like being able to pull in and find parking. Technology is incredible. Ask the library staff how to download the app Libby, for your smartphone. You can check out ebooks and read it whenever you have time. Close to the library is a playground area for little ones. There isn’t a water fountain or bathroom available.”
