“There is a shortage of space for tournaments so parents pretty much have to wait in their car in the parking lot. The people running the activity seem to be sticklers for rules, which might explain some of the bad reviews. My son has participated in simultaneous games, drop in lessons, rated and unrated tournaments, summer camps organized by Bay area chess over the years in San Jose, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Milpitas locations. We have experienced no issues. As for the chess lessons, the instructors lead discussions for the most part or play group games, so it will be less useful for a child who is shy or sitting passively or not showing initiative.”

My kids enjoy the school—the teachers, the environment, and the overall atmosphere. The director is actively involved, offering hands-on support and guidance to the teachers every day. The director is meticulous, experienced, and loving. The teachers are warm, caring, and attentive to my children’s needs. At 7 Magic Flowers, our younger child gradually adjusted to his first school experience; our older child had the opportunity to develop her leadership skills as one of the oldest in her class. “I could not have found a better daycare for my son. My little one has been going here for past 2 years and has grown very fond of Varshini. She provides warmth, care and attention to kids just like her own. She also engages kids in age appropriate learning activities , nature plays , festival celebrations, and Montessori skills and has also been supportive in the toilet training phase. Kids are provided with healthy hot meals (Breakfast & lunch) along with snacks - a real lifesaver for working parents. I am also very much satisfied with the safety measures in place at this daycare. I would highly recommend it !!”

“I enrolled my daughter Isabella at East Valley Christian Preschool when she had just turned 2 years old last Spring. I had researched and toured other preschools in the area at the time, but none of them compared to the warm and welcoming feeling that I was met with when I first toured EVCSP. The classroom layout is designed wonderfully to give the children a great space for learning and playtime. The entire campus is impeccably clean and always a joy to walk into. The first person I met at EVCSP was Mrs. Dora and she has been great from day one. All the teacher's are very warm and welcoming. My daughters teacher's Mrs. Juanita and Mrs. Deicy are like the dynamic duo they have the children's routine down to a science and are two of the most warm, caring, and nurturing individuals you can meet. My daughter loves them and my husband and I are so grateful for them. There is nothing like feeling complete peace when we drop-off our daughter every morning and knowing that we are leaving our precious little one in great hands. I highly recommend EVCSP to any parent that is currently looking for a preschool that provides a great care and an exceptional learning experience for their child.”

“I came during Chinese Lunar New Year and Vietnamese Tet festivals. The temple is decorated beautifully. It also brought us a Vietnamese temple vibes atmosphere here where many people pays a visit to Budha temple in the beginning of a new year for good luck. Many great Budha statues. They also offer vegetarian food in exchange for donations.”

The retired principal retired in time. It is a charter school anyway. Sometimes we hope charter schools to be of higher quality, but this might be a dream, sometimes.”

“Unfortunately public school and the after school programs connected with them were not the right fit for our family. Our relationship with Action Day Primary Plus started at the El Quito campus when our LO went there for pre-school. Primary Plus Elementary School is THE place for us. From small class sizes, Spanish and music once a week plus all the other great after school programs, we would not want to be anywhere else. The staff and teachers care about our child and the education she is getting. Also the parent TEAM is wonderful! Made of parent and staff volunteers, they work together to strengthen the community by planning great events and enhance the learning for our students. Go TEAM!”

“Seydou is an excellent coach. Our daughter who is a beginner in tennis has been training with him for a couple of months now and we already see drastic improvement in her performance. Seydou keeps the training interesting by introducing games and other challenges that definitely helps the child understand the game. Our daughter’s form and technique has improved and she feels more comfortable and confident compared to where she started. “I started learning from Nidhi ji one year ago as a total newbie (with no experience in vocal music). I found that though Nidhi ji is very accomplished she is still great at teaching beginners as well as advanced learners. We spent several weeks on basic aalankar etc and she was very patient as I trained my ears. She not only spots minute mistakes but explains again and again till you get it right . I am now on the second Raag and enjoying it very much. I couldn't have asked for a better guru.”
