“Walking into the lobby of the hotel, you get an older feel to the establishment. My wife said it reminded her of an old hotel in London - not unpleasant, but clearly a more dated style. The location is excellent, directly next to a variety of stores and immediate access to the highway. I found the staff very attentive and welcoming. Going up to our room was where we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and had some nice cabinetry in the bathroom. More importantly, the room and bathroom was incredibly spacious, almost on par with what I would consider a private suite. There is a nice large window to let in natural light from the courtyard, but a set of very dark blackout curtains are available for the late mornings, keeping the room pitch black. There really was no noise or disturbances to speak of, despite close proximity to the major road and highway, so I’m assuming the rooms are well insulated. No noises from other guests were noted either. Not sure if it’s a regular occurrence, but the hotel staff put out a COMPLIMENTARY huge welcome basket of snacks and drinks that lasted us well into our 3 day stay! In this economy?! A small but personal touch that we appreciated. Overall, the hotel is not necessarily cheap, but you definitely get a great experience. I would take this hotel over a traditional hotel chain any day, and look forward to staying again next time I’m in the area.”

“Over 100 years of Santa Clara History The Harris-Lass home belonged to two families in its tenure in Santa Clara. I had the pleasure of touring the home with the President of the Historic Preservation Society of Santa Clara, Bob Byrd. If anyone knows this home, it is Mr. Byrd, whose knowledge of it is nearly as extensive as those who resided in it. The tour through the home takes about 90 minutes, no photography is permitted within the house. Guests are permitted to take as many photos of the grounds as they wish as well as to visit the other buildings. The collection of period materials is one of the most extensive in the valley as the grand-daughter of Captain Lass, left nearly everything she had in the home when she departed. Her parting wish was to have the home preserved for future generations under the governance of the city. Thanks to her generous donation and the work of the preservation society, we may all show our appreciation.”

“Honestly this was a decent car wash for the price. I used this wash for my daily ride to get rid of basic grime and dirt. The car is over 12 years old so my expectation was low. Nonetheless I didn’t see any major issues like damages or paint scratches as other reviews have mentioned. Overall this is a good car wash location.”

“I had my wedding here in June 2023. Please note that you have to be a Santa Clara University student, alumni, or faculty member to get married here (I did my graduate program at SCU). It is very cost-effective to reserve this space and the administration is very helpful in ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed. Upon reserving our spot, we received a detailed wedding planning outline that helped us plan our wedding day. The mission is absolutely beautiful with such rich history. It is beautiful inside and does not require much decoration as the beauty speaks for itself! The on-site director helped make our wedding rehearsal go very smoothly so that on the day of, all attendants knew exactly what to do. I highly recommend this venue if you are capable! “I've been going to Dr. Steinborn and her team for 20 years, for regular exams and repairs, including a crown. The cleanings are thorough, the exams very detailed and well-explained, and the recommendations and advice are very helpful. They referred me to a great gum specialist when I needed that, and introduced me to the amazing Nimbus toothbrush, that has made a big improvement in my daily brushing. Even though I've moved out of state, I still schedule my appointments for when I'm in town.”

“DIY'er - called in for an obscure Maytag part to repair the freezer in our ~20 yr old freezer- We found the number; he said he had it. I said I would be right over. When I arrived the part was awaiting for me on the counter. Better price than the parts-direct type sites. No shipping, no waiting. My time was worth it. I am not sure how they find anything in there, but I am not complaining! update: I ended up buying two parts - downgraded one star due to strict no return policy - It is stated, so I knew, but there should be some flexibility - store credit, or restocking fee etc. for unopened, unused parts that can go right back onto the shelf.”

I had neck aches back aches, headache nausea back of my eyes was hurting .seeing different drs end up advising taking Tylenol. in my lucky day founding Dr rafi i was helpless and crying . they fitted me quickly and have been truly brilliant . very friendly.
