“This is an excellent location to begin your flight training. As an instructor with over 7,000 hours of instruction given and 15 years of experience, I can tell you this location is an ideal platform for learning to fly. When my students are ready for complex airspace we have that to the north of the airport and when they're only suited for less complex airspace when they're initially learning we have that aplenty in the area of our airport and to the South into the West and to the east. The other great advantage of this location, is that practice areas are very close and can be accessed readily. Some of the airports much further to the North - Airport Palo Alto Airport and San Carlos require the pilot to fly some distance before they're able to find a suitable practice area. Not to mention the problems with San Carlos airport is that the winds are almost always cross at the field it takes at least a half hour to get to a practice area not to mention the low overlying class bravo airspace that sits only 1500 ft above the airport. Not to mention the issues of fog off the nearby Bay and long sequencing times out of Palo Alto Airport. San Martin Airport has none of the aforementioned problems. Most days are flyable and the runways, readily accessible. Just minutes away is a towered Airport when it comes to practicing towered operations it's a short distance away at Reid Hillview Airport. Again, San Martin Airport it's an ideal location to learn to fly and that's coming from an instructor with over 15 years of experience an FAA gold seal flight certificate with over 7,000 hours of instruction given. I hope you choose to begin the adventure of a lifetime and live that dream of becoming a pilot. If you want to find me just Google LearnToFlyWithPilotGuy, Welcome to one great airport and welcome to the adventure of a lifetime!”

“I was in need of a cheap and affordable airport shuttle to San Jose Airport. I googled the shuttle companies and called several different operators some representatives were really rude and some were just eager to hang up. I called Premier and spoke with Ben. Ben was so kind and helpful I reserved his shuttle service to transportation. Ben drove me safely in his Shuttle from Campbell to San Jose Airport. Helped load my bags, arrived on time, had a nice clean minivan and helped me get my luggage on the cart at the airport as well when we got to the Southwest counter. I would recommend Ben’s shuttle services to anyone.”

“I was fortunate enough to find this flight school and to fly with a number of the instructors there! These guys overall are great. A true family atmosphere, instructors that contact/work with you directly, great support staff and all around fun place to be and learn. We have a pretty amazing area to fly in out here - complex airspace and a variety of weather/cloud conditions. Completed my PPL and am looking forward to continuing my flight instruction here!”

“Did a great job taking care of us. Let us leave our bags behind the counter while we walked to the In and Out Burger.”

“It's a small parking lot where you can wait to pick someone up instead of circling around endlessly. There are spots for about 20 cars. One entrance and one exit. The spots are spacious.”

“So far I had decent experience but it is small airport when compared to other airports. Try to be there at-least couple of hours before the boarding time. So that crowd can be avoided. During weekends most of them travel, so don’t wait till the last moment and lead urself into problem”

“If you like seeing a lot of non commercial airplanes and also a lot of interesting helicopters this is a great place to go and stop by for a quick visit. One of the reasons why I really like this airport is that it's right next to one of the parks. The other thing is is that it's literally an airport that seems like it's out in the country but it's literally like right in the city just a short one mile drive away. The airport does have an airport lounge over here and that actually is very well furnished and half staff on location. There's plenty of parking here, and honestly it's one of the more busier airports that are customize to the private individual. If you need a relaxing place to really go out and basically here the airplanes are you just need to get something off your mind this is a great place to go.”
