“Grabbed takeout for lunch from here after having it recommended by the front desk person at my hotel. Got the popcorn chicken box with extra veggies and braised chicken. Arrived at designated pickup time, but order took another 5 mins, which was no big deal, as the gentleman at the window (maybe the owner?) was quite nice and warm in his communication. After a few mins, my name was called and my order handed to me nicely bagged up. Got back to the hotel and every single thing was correct and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I could not finish it all in one meal, either. The fried chicken was really good, the steamed veggies were also great, and the tofu was excellent. The marinated eggs were not as good as the rest of the food (a little overcooked for my taste), but still good enough to make the overall experience a legit 5 stars. I'll be back soon.”

“Tandoori Flames took my taste buds on a rollercoaster, and I'll definitely be riding again soon. To start: you should know going in, the portions are enormous. One tandoori entree, an order of rice, and an order of naan is probably more than enough food for the average couple. I didn't know this, so I'll be enjoying leftovers for a while! I started out with the samosas chaat; as someone relatively new to Indian food, I struggled to even comprehend the variety and complexity of flavors and textures. It was delicious. Order some naan on the side to enjoy what's left after you finish the samosas. The chicken tikka and tandoori chicken were both excellent. The portions were enormous, and the sauces offered strong complimentary flavors. When I come back, I'll definitely order one tandoori entree and one curry, to balance out the wet-to-dry ratio, and give me more sauce for dipping naan. The menu is large, but it's not intimidating; there are helpful explanations for every dish. If your spicy tolerance is low (like me), go for a refreshing mango lassi. But if you like spicy food, get one just because it tastes really good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the table had plenty of space to fill with dishes. My server did an outstanding job and took my experience to the next level. Quite honestly, it would be difficult for me to find a substantive critique of Tandoori Flames. I will be back, often.”

“Our new go-to place to pickup something quick to eat. Cheese pupusas are my favorite and the Friday special huaraches are delicious as well. Call ahead to order and pick up within 20-30min.”

“Dined here on a workday night, we were the first customer. The food were very delicious and service was quick and good. Chicken skin and intestine were my favorites, they were both very crispy. The lamb and beef skewer were also very good. However the kidney was a little bit overcooked. Overall it was a great Chinese northern bbq place, would come again!”

“I got 2 Keto tacos and a small consumè on the side. I heard they have some of the best birria tacos in town so I had to stop by. It was beyond what I was expecting! The Birria was made perfect, very tender and had so much flavor especially with the fried cheese crust instead of a tortilla. Super cheesy and stuffed with meat. I Ioved the cheese pull with every bite. The consumé was good and went well with the tacos. The light Orange Sauce they have is bomb, it’s one of the best sauces I’ve tried. I see why they are known for that sauce now.”

“The first and best place I've had banh canh! 🤤 Super glad an old coworker showed me this place, because the thick noodle dishes here are so comforting. My go to dish is #2 Banh Canh Ga, which is tapioca noodles with chicken soup. The dish comes with delicious chicken soup, slices of chicken, and it's topped with fried onions to elevate the flavor. Staffing seems low so service can be slow as a result. Parking here can be volatile, so hope you can get lucky snagging a spot. Otherwise, there's street parking as well.”

“There are not many dim sum place near mountain view area. This one is good. Been there many times. Food quality is stable. And size is bigger than other place like Koi palace. But as usual as other dim sum place, if you don’t speak Cantonese, you will have some cold faces served you.”

“Delicious, tasty, Mexican food well done. Rainbow of flavors that romances my tongue, lips and tummy. Service by Carolina made the Cinco de Mayo Celebration a unique experience because she brought the A+ game to courteous, prompt, friendly service. Glasses and chips were always full throughout meal and she stopped by many times to make sure we were well taken care of. Every dish was perfectly cooked and flavored to perfection. Amazing mixed fajitas, burritos de carne asada, and shrimp meal. The mixed fajita carne asada, shrimp, and chicken has this special blend of spices that is difficult to describe, except to say MMMMMM, MMMMM, delicious, finger licking yum! The beans are a perfect blend of spices and cheese. Tortillas are cooked well. Margaritas were awesome. Huge glasses with all the right ingredients. Happy Hour during Cinco de Mayo $5 Margaritas. Two are just fine for the night. Highly recommend. So far, best Dang Mexican Restaurant in Gilroy.”

“You know a place to good if there are: 1. Line out the door 2. Amazing smells 3. Alot of Asians at a Asian restaurant :) Really affordable, tasty food. This place fulfilled my dim sum craving and still had leftovers for dinner. The congee was excellent as well as the shu mai and sticky rice. Overall everything was tasty and cheap!!”

“Absolutely phenomenal food! We really enjoyed the overall experience. The service was truly wonderful, such friendly people. We had the soup of the day- tomato basil soup - and warm bread, it was fresh and delicious. Then I had the spinach ravioli (I added mushrooms), it was delightful! We will come again, I am sure of it :)”

“I got some stir fry noodles and spring rolls (both vegetarian) here and enjoyed it in the pleasant ambience. I got my noodles crispy (soft would have made it more noodle-y) which I had never tried before and it was pretty good! Try their spring rolls with peanut sauce too, so satiating and equally delicious. We came on a weekend for lunch so it was quite packed and after we put our name on the waiting list it took another 15 min to be seated. That being said service is great in general. Unfortunately, there aren't a ton of vegetarian/vegan options so keep that in mind when coming here (hence 1 star off - how can there not be a single vegetarian/vegan pho?).”

“Stopped for a quick bite to go. I like that they have vegetarian and gluten-free options. I placed my order at the counter, was given a buzzer and waited outside for it to buzz. Once it did, I went to the other side of the restaurant to pick up. I ordered the Impossible Burger with gluten free bread and a lemonade. The lemonade was tart but not sweet enough for my liking. I wasn’t a fan of the gluten free bread. It normally comes with egg bread. The impossible burger was overcooked if that makes sense for a vegan patty but with ketchup it was okay.”

“The BEST shrimp quesadillas and marlin tacos I’ve ever had! The Sonora taco is, no exaggeration, one of the best tacos I’ve ever tasted. Period. The service was on point as was their food. Parking is a little tricky but it is well worth it. Definitely my new go-to spot for seafood. Im getting hungry just thinking of that Sonora taco! Do yourself a favor and check them out...you won’t be disappointed.”

“Really great Thai food. Everything we tried was good! Fried pork belly doesn't taste fat at all, which is good. Yellow curry also tasty, with a strong taste of coconut milk. However, rice was not included in entree and it's charged for $3.”

“We stopped by for a quick bite since we saw it was opened. Here’s their takoyaki, popcorn chicken (spicy), and jalapeño fries. Popcorn chicken was nicely seasoned and not burn your tongue spicy, takoyaki was cooked through and had its signature creaminess, and the fries were a bit salty but you can fix that with a drink. The wait was not long or short and service was great. I will have to come back for drinks soon.”

“Great savoury buns and brioches, loved the tiramisu and would like to visit this bakery again. The desserts are not very sweet, that’s perfect for someone like me. Would prefer a little better service. Overall a good place to buy baked treats. Sugar butter paradise😍”

“Okay, well. This place is a Laos restaurant. They don't have much for you to order, but all the menu they have is great! Especially for Khao piek, the soup is tasty. It's spicy and... I don't know what to explain. 😆 The thing that I like here is there are side dishes for you. As you can see from my photos, there is a small plastic bowl on the paper plates. It's a spicy papaya salad, but it is not spicy enough for me. So, if you like spicy, please go for Laos style papaya salad. You will not be disappointed 👍”

“This review is based on one experience and one meal, so take it as you will. First off, the manager and staff were so nice I felt like I was back home in the south. Secondly, the brisket sandwich was great. The lean brisket was nice and tender. The buns could be a little more toasted for a good element of crunch, but they were still tasty. The original sauce was alright. I’ve had better, but not in california. The classic jalapeño sauce was so good I bought a bottle (which they keep out and handy for purchase). I got the cornbread. Not bad. I also got onion rings, and some of them were a little under fried however they were still very tasty. They have a great batter. Overall it was a pleasant experience as a solo diner and a delicious meal. Great place to eat solo or with your family. Decent options for draft beers. Do yourself a favor and get the jalapeño sauce.”

“Had ordered food from Doordash in the past but this was the 1st time visited this place for dinner with friends. The ambience is funky modern n Indian mix. The food we ordered was a good attempt to match the street food culture in India. I liked the tandoori chicken sandwich of all the food items we ordered. Overall a good place to hangout and have fun!!”
