“Was walking around Capitola and spotted this place, and I'm not one to turn down a good hot dog. When reading the menu with my girlfriend, the man at the counter was making suggestions, cracking jokes and just making the experience a totally fun time. Ended up getting the foot long for myself and my gf got the normal beef dog. The amount of toppings available was great to see and the friendly service really made the experience great. Next time I'm around, I will be sure to snag another foot long at this place.”

“I have lived in Santa Clara California for 18 years since I married an American, before I lived in Kauai where I learned to appreciate Japanese culture and food. That's why whenever I can I choose start with edamame, miso soup, then sushi, sashimi, tempura, salmon or a classic bento box . Many weekends we go to different areas of the bay, Capitola is one of my favorites, especially in summer. We go to this restaurant for dinner, the atmosphere is incredible. They have many tables inside a very spacious room, there are always nice people, I love the decoration the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable . They have vegetarian options and a good tea selection. The staff is friendly, professional the service is fast. I highly recommend this place for a fun moment with great food.”

“Rocky’s ROCKS! I stayed in Santa Cruz for couple of months and decided to join Rocky’s fitness center to get back into shape before my next big travel. The goal was become stronger, and sure enough these guys got me there. The classes were so much fun and perfectly hard ! Gym is perfect size and a lot of the time we were outside on the mats. There are so many interesting exercises i never done before and every question i had about my balance, muscles and body was answered! Proper local spot with devoted warm people. Also, such a friendly group of locals are there to work hard with you and cheer you on! thank you Carrli and Rocky see you next fall!!”

“I can tell you 930 on Wednesday morning and there’s virtually nobody in the bank and the people were as nice as you would expect from any bank. Just a word of warning, they won’t take loose change at this location. You have to roll it yourself to deposit it, which they told me when I came in with a big envelope of it. . Says something about our banks when they no longer have those machines that count the coins for you and that they won’t even take it unless it’s rolled so I had to go to the local Walmart down the street and use the coin machine in their entranceway”

“I come here just about every morning for the same exact coffee and it's pretty darn consistent. I am not a connoisseur by any measure, but I do enjoy a nice solid Americano with a splash of soy milk and cinnamon first thing in the morning, oftentimes when I'm walking. The staff knows who I am and on the rare occasion it's not just right, they fix it without a problem. So grateful for this experience so close to home.”
