“We had to stop at the pizza spot that was in the movie chasing mavericks ! What a cool joint . You just line up behind the surfers coming from the beach to grab a slice . The slices are huge !! I don’t know why this place has any bad reviews but if you want your pizza warmed up more just ask them to make it extra crispy or hotter - not a big deal . Our first slice was a little warm but our next two were hotter ! It’s delicious 🤤 and fast and easy ! Don’t miss this spot !! The Santa Barbara was our favorite . Juliet was also very good ! 👍”

“I had a fabulous stay at Bungalow341 this March. Bungalow341 is a quintessential 1920'S Santa Cruz beach bungalow at Pleasure Pont. The owners have maintained the charm of a classic "beach bungalo" with modern upgrades and nicely appointed touches to the interior as well as the exterior. We enjoyed evenings around the fire pit on the front pourch as well as time spent in the hot tub in the back yard. Loved the gas BBQ for the evening grill and many mordern appliances to make cooking just like home or if we felt like eatng out there were several restaurant close by and within walking distance. The beach is just steps away. Perfect Pleaure Point Santa Cruz expierence, can't wait to go back!”

“Junebugs is a popular for gymnastics classes, they’re often fully booked so you might have to first enter a waitlist. The cricket classes are great, with a lot of instructors to help so you don’t have to worry that your kid is going to get themselves hurt. Classes are well structured with just the right amount of ‘learning’ and ‘play’ mixed in. They start with a warm up during circle time and conversation. Then do a ‘station based’ circuit and end with a fun zip line activity.”

“04/22/2022 Decent size free day use parking lot. No parking 10pm to 6am. Two all gender single restrooms available (flushable toilets) though they aren't very clean. One very cold public shower and there is a spigot next to shower with excellent water pressure if you need to fill gallon water jugs or for pet. Van, pickup truck or car only. Not enough room for large RV's. Beach is across street. There are paths throughout park to exercise or walk your dog.”

“This was our first time picking up breakfast burritos here. They were delicious and I highly recommend getting the barrel. I ordered 3 of them for the family. They were reasonably priced as well. For 1 large and 2 small burritos it was around $28. Parking was a little tricky as it's a busy area on east cliff. Cash only and I called ahead for pickup in 20 minutes. We will definitely be going back in the future.”

“I can wholeheartedly recommend Neal and Paula Woods! They are the embodiment of excellence in real estate. We relocated here to Santa Cruz from western Pennsylvania for work. We knew no one and nothing about the area. Paula and Neal were recommended by coworkers of my husband and they turned out to be such a valuable resource to us. There is a reason they've been so successful at what they do for so long! They really know real estate in Santa Cruz county. They know the best commute locations. They know which schools are great. They know what neighborhoods will hold their value and maintain your investment. But where they really demonstrated their value to us was not in locating a home to purchase, but actually making sure we closed escrow on a home that we love. Closing on our house was not a straight and easy path. We had some difficulty with our mortgage broker (also recommended by coworkers) because of some unpermitted additions that had been made to the property by the previous owners. Basically, our mortgage broker was not acting as a strong advocate on our behalf with our lender. After weeks of dragging his feet in the loan approval process, Paula and Neal knew when it was time to throw in the towel with this guy and call in someone that knew what they were doing. They set us up with a fantastic local broker that got our loan approved and moving forward in days! We were having trouble getting our property insured with our insurance company. Paula and Neal put us in touch with a local insurance agent that got us same-day approval for homeowners insurance for our property (and at a much better rate than our insurance company offered us before refusing to insure the property). As we discovered, finding a house in Santa Cruz county is one thing, closing on it is quite another! Paula and Neal will make sure you find the perfect house and close escrow on it! Not only do they know buying and selling houses- they are a fantastic resource for everything you might need in when moving to a new area! Paula was able to recommend a kitchen designer to help us correct some very unique design flaws with our current kitchen. That person has proven to be excellent. She was able to recommend a contractor to execute the necessary remodeling work that needed to take place in our kitchen and downstairs and he has been wonderful thus far. She also had fantastic recommendations for an orthodontist for our daughter to continue treatment here. They were a wealth of information about the area, fun things to do with children, etc. The bottom line is this: if Neal and Paula make a recommendation about a vendor, repair person, restaurant, etc., you can be sure that their recommendations will always be right on target and top notch! Most importantly, they are such a joy to work with! We had so many glitches that were beyond their control when trying to close on this property, but they both were so encouraging and helped keep things in perspective for my husband and myself. They do their best to make the process fun and we really needed that element to make this cross-country move a positive experience for us! You will not be disappointed when you hire them to represent you for your real estate needs!”
