I love the color she gave me- the last person put a lot of red in the color, which translated into Brassy for me. She also fixed an uneven cut I recently got. The grounds are beautiful, naturally (being in Santa Cruz), but the forest drive to the entrance still enchants each time. The staff is as friendly as one could ask for. They directed us to an awesome pizzeria on Pacific for dinner (Pizza My Heart). This stopover in Santa Cruz itself, as well as Chaminade was random, but we’ll be returning specifically to stay here.”

“Melissa's spa is amazing. I love the space, including the sauna and outdoor shower in the redwoods. As a therapist, she offers many different types of treatments. She's healed a rib of mine before. Recently, I fell and broke my hip. Since I couldn't lay on the table for a massage, i was in too much pain, she came to my home for a sound treatment three weeks after the accident. Within 24 hours of the treatment, I was no longer on Norco, the pain had reduced that much.”

I have blonde eyebrows and she makes them look so natural and full, like way fuller than I actually have (don't know how she does this but its awesome). I've used Shanna for facials too and my skin looked amazing. Lots of complements after seeing her! The skin care line she carries is affordable and her brightening serums took away my melasma. Shanna also specializes in spray tans and I tried one back in April - AMAZING. My tan was even, a pretty light brown, and my body didn't splotch when it was wearing off. I think she uses an organic solution. I'll be back again.”
