“We had to stop at the pizza spot that was in the movie chasing mavericks ! What a cool joint . You just line up behind the surfers coming from the beach to grab a slice . The slices are huge !! I don’t know why this place has any bad reviews but if you want your pizza warmed up more just ask them to make it extra crispy or hotter - not a big deal . Our first slice was a little warm but our next two were hotter ! It’s delicious 🤤 and fast and easy ! Don’t miss this spot !! The Santa Barbara was our favorite . Juliet was also very good ! 👍”

“We stopped in just after they opened, so we had the place to ourselves initially. We ordered the garlic prawns and the shrimp and cheese empanadas. The chef brought our plates out to us personally which made us feel appreciated. We couldn't eat our food fast enough, it was that good. I get thousands of likes and thumbs up for sharing my posts on google reviews. This by far is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Clean restaurant, super friendly workers who are brothers . “What a fun discovery here. My son picked this place for his graduation dinner and we ordered the blue corn tamales with shrimp and scallops. Delicious! Super filling as well. My husband had the shrimp tacos and said they were good, too. Wasn't impressed with the salsa, but everything else was great, as well as the service. “I've been going to Batish's for years for reproduction of audio and visuals. The shop has grown immensely and now has many wonderful Indian gifts. I recently bought a round table cloth and I have had many compliments on it. I love it. Batish's sister and mother are lovely people also. Batish used to perform for the Bethany University music department when it was in Scotts Valley (closed in 2011). I'm so glad they are in our community.”

The burrito was also amazing and packed with meat. The one we got came with meat, cheese, sour cream, rice, beans, and Pico de Gallo. The horchata was also delicious. Definitely recommend them! We found Mijo’s on Google & saw the excellent reviews. It was perfect! Just a few steps away from the beach and the decor was very pleasant. As we stepped up to order takeout, the chef was excited to serve us and gave some helpful suggestions. I got the shrimp burrito & my wife got 2/5 tacos. We also had some fresh-made chips, salsa and fresh-made guacamole. Oh, and their salsa options are incredible! If you’re in Capitola & was some delicious Mexican takeout, we highly recommend Mijo’s Taqueria!”
