“Found the hotel by happenstance - stopped for a lunch at Layla and fell in love with the property. We were staying at another hotel but promptly checked out and checked in at MacArthur Place instead! The property was incredibly beautiful with plenty of winding garden paths between buildings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery with swings and fire pits. The room was similarly beautiful and well decorated. Everything in the hotel feels very deliberate and thoughtful, with a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Service was exceptional. Hands down one of our favorite parts about the visit here, will definitely come back!”

“Great way to get away. Moon mountain retreat is well maintained. A beautiful property far from the crowds. The house is comfortable and comes with just about everything you need to make your stay special and memorable. The pool area is clean and enjoyable. The grill was ready for the burgers. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds are soft and comfortable. Everything was as described in the Airbnb listing. If you have a large group or family, this is a great place to stay and relax while visiting California wine country...I just wish we could have stayed longer.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Sonoma Chalet B&B. Joe and Ruth were extremely friendly and helped us find the right places to explore in Sonoma. The room we stayed in (Farm View Suite) was very cozy, spacious, full of views from the two balconies and topped off with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast each morning was delicous (fresh fruit, fruit parfaits, hard boiled eggs, granola, pastries, juice, coffee) and helped energize us for a long day of wine tasting. Would recommend to any couple looking for a country feel at a quaint but updated B&B.”

“Great place to stay! Clean & updated. Spacious. Owners have left a 3-ring binder of descriptions of local places as well as coupons you can use. Has washer/dryer. Very nice outdoor patio and backyard with several seating areas. Board games available and DVD player. My sisters and I took our mom here for her 80th birthday. We were all very comfortable and had a great time!”

The house was comfortable, clean, full of little amenities and has a spectacular porch to hang out on with family/friends. The pictures online don't do it justice. And you can't beat the location. Less than a minute walk to Sonoma square, and one of our favorite restaurants, The Girl and the Fig. Would highly recommend!”
