“Found the hotel by happenstance - stopped for a lunch at Layla and fell in love with the property. We were staying at another hotel but promptly checked out and checked in at MacArthur Place instead! The property was incredibly beautiful with plenty of winding garden paths between buildings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery with swings and fire pits. The room was similarly beautiful and well decorated. Everything in the hotel feels very deliberate and thoughtful, with a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Service was exceptional. Hands down one of our favorite parts about the visit here, will definitely come back!”

His experience with permitting takes a lot of stress out of the project. He follows up quickly on issues that he needs to get involved with. Their fee structure is fair when you consider all the inspection and permit hoops they have to jump through. Classes are held outdoors on her patio (or under a canopy in the winter) and there are chickens, goats, and sheep happily grazing in a pen nearby. It's magical.”

“My Mother has been in and out of other post acute rehabilitation several times now. After checking her in at Hillcrest Post Acute, I was finally able to let go and relax. I was met by Robert, who immediately began to organize care, post care, insurance, nurse and doctor check ins, Everything that was needed. He did this with light hearted humor and lots of good will. Things were obviously hectic and fast paced but with sense of energy, detail and presence I appreciated. Each day I could see my mother getting stronger with the rehab she was receiving. Unlike my past experiences that she was just resting in bed with her own TV until insurance cut her off. I am grateful to have received such good care for both my mother and myself.”

“I helped two loved ones plan a unique 35-person wedding celebration. We had very specific and nontraditional needs and reached out to about 12 florists in the Sonoma area based on our hotel’s preferred vendor list. Daisy and Jim were the ONLY ones who paid attention to our specific request and didn’t try to saddle us with items and costs we didn’t need. They had excellent suggestions (things we hadn’t thought of) and delivered a most amazing floral display that capped off our celebration perfectly. “Didn't know what to expect when going in. It seemed very nice. They were out of gloves my size and the masks for the dummies didn't fit all too well, which made me frustrated. I liked that I had more than enough time to complete all the modules. Turns out I left a very important bracelet in the room and I called their help line and they were able to give me information that made it easy to get it back. Overall, good experience. When I need to get re-certified I will go back.”
