“Very small place yet fun with loose river rocks all over the place in a good portion of the park. Head to the beginner, intermediate, or intermediate/expert tracks for some dirt bike fun! The intermediate/expert track is where we ended up spending most of our time.”

“A nice place for family's day out. The area has running water, paid parking(10$ whole day), lots of wild flowers during the spring time and good seating areas for grilling. It has historic sites like a bridge and a museum as well. Not too far from central valley”

“Very nice park with new equipment that was donated by La Loma neighborhood association and installed by looking val fire department. With a community garden a block down the street. A true community. And there are no homeless in the park as had been implied.”

“I'll be honest... I love this park. Very clean and children are always having fun here including my own babies. There is barbecue places, a field, and the location is right next to a school and down the street is a grocery store. Plenty of parking and a nice comfortable walking path big enough for bicycle riding and any wheel chairs. Variety of playground amenities for the children to have fun and seating if you get tired. Plus plenty of shade and developed in a comfortable neighborhood. Furthermore, there is a bed of rocks next to the park that kids love to play around and experience nature. With all the amenities, you would think the kids would be playing but I mostly find them playing with God given rocks and sticks 😀 ...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to bring your children here to have the best time especially during spring God bless.... 😀”

“It's a huge park, good for playing sports, exercise or walking your dog. It's maintained pretty well. It would be nice if it was updated and if there was more shade available. It would be nice to have more trees planted around the park to provide more shade and make the park look more appealing. Also, updating the playground and basketball court would be nice. It's definitely aged but still functional. Nice overall.”

“This park is pretty nice. There are benches in shade and a bathroom. It has a boat launch. The trail is easy and short. There and back. There are several homeless camps on that side so it was hard to find a safe area to get down to the river. If you go the opposite side of the main trail past the benches you can walk down to the river and follow it for a short while. Nice area. Lots of garbage. Easy walk. My dog liked the area too.”

“I am so glad this little park is here. It used to be where my kids’ great grandmother’s home was. She would be so pleased to know children have a park to play at where her home once was. She was an Angel. I miss her and her daughter dearly.”

“Planning the funeral services for my father was amongst the most difficult experiences I have had to live through. However, the staff at Lakewood made this experience a much easier one to bear. They were caring, empathetic, and comforting during this very difficult time. They were also very experienced and knowledgeable and helped us through the process. We are extremely appreciative for all the support given to us during this difficult time. Nadya was outstanding, helping us with choosing a beautiful plot for the family, following up with the funeral home, and being 100% present during the internment of my Father. My father’s resting place is a beautiful area overlooking the lake and vineyards at Lakewood. The cool breeze, the beautiful grounds, the peace and serenity, and the great staff at Lakewood were a key deciding factor in selecting our family’s final resting place.”

“Really nice place to hike. Easy if you want it to be, more challenging if you're willing. However, people need to learn to clean up after themselves, I packed out a grocery bag full of other people's trash. Definitely worth a visit though. Bring swim attire if brave enough. There are places to get in and it's a nice little swim while hiking.”
