The down part of it, is that they NEVER answer there phones to place an order. And there business hours are off , they say there open from Tuesday- Saturday, but in reality there only open on Saturdays! Over all this is a 5🌟 for sure ! It’s well worth the wait till Saturday! “Absolutely delicious! Best food in California I've ever had. Made to order from scratch. Food from El Salvador. I stopped by restaurant as I had to make a work visit in the town. I walked in blind with no look at reviews, pictures, or the menu. The restaurant is unassuming from the outside and is located in a very rural town. In all honesty, if this food was served in a restaurant in any major city, it would be filled daily. The food was made to order so don't expect food to come out quickly. I received my order in about 15 minutes although the restaurant was empty. We were lucky on that day because they just had received a day before some fresh herbs that were from El Salvador. I've never had Salvadoran food but this restaurant has made me a huge fan. Food I ordered and ate: Mixtas Chicharron, Loroco (Pupusa), Platanos Fritos, and Repollo. The owner was so sweet and friendly. One would never know the best food in the United States is located in very rural areas made by very special people.”

At the end of the day they use the left over meat and beans to make burritos and you can buy them in the cold section on display as soon as you walk into the store. “If you are driving down the 99 and need food, this is by far the best little stop you can make for tacos or other Mexican food. The taco truck is parked under shade trees, and shaded benches. Everything is keep clean and tidy. The truck is in a small town called Tipton. Easy on and off the freeway in either direction. Sink to wash your hands but no restroom.”

“This is our new favorite place! We had to come back to back from Father's Day to a following Birthday, as there was no comparison! Their steaks are absolutely cooked to perfection. Everything is fresh and so good! Their Mud Pie is out of this world! They have a good cocktail menu. The tables on the patio are right above the water with cute string lights. Stay after and explore the river, bridge and trails! The service and family friendliness is superb! Everyone works together to make sure you're having the best service. It's also dog friendly on the patio. We have yet to stay in the lodge, but hopefully soon!”
