“We booked here very last minute after a cancellation somewhere else and we're very happy with our night there. There a lot of great hiking spots in the area. There is a nice tavern across the street with music and simple food, but it was all good. The lodge itself was empty when we were there, but we were free to hang out there. And it had a nice little breakfast. All around, very pleasant. No wifi in the rooms though.”

Tule Campground

“I've seen some poor reviews here, but the problems we experienced were from irresponsible destructive campers rather than the site or staff. Both volunteer ladies here are wonderful. Maintenance people are team workers and dedicated to their jobs. Someone was a jerk and stuff garbage into the dump station rather than in the dumpster right there. I called the project office and within 30 minutes 3 people were working on it. They kept working until it was again usable and we could clear our tanks. They stood by to be sure it continued until we finished. Definitely friendly and good customer service. Site was fairly level and we had no problem leveling or space for both our car and motorhome. No problem with 50 amp hookup. Although the water spigot was quite a distance (50' m/l), we hooked it up. Didn't like the taste, and pets wouldn't drink it, so we bought bottled water in town. Town is only about 15 minutes away, and you can find most anything you need there. All in all, good campground and worth a return visit when in the area.”

“We were here for a week on site 8 and 9. It's a nice campground but campsites are kinda close to each other although some of the campsites look apart from each other on the campground map. Once you see the campground turn right into it cause Google maps will tell you to continue past the entrance towards a narrow road with no entrance to campground and it's not easy making a u turn! I stayed on site 8 which had bathrooms and water close by. I heard other campers saying the water wasn't working near their site, I guess that's why everyone was coming for water by where we stayed. Bathrooms were okay at times but there is lots of flies and toilet paper does finish quickly so good thing we took our own. DON'T FORGET THE BUG SPRAY!!! We still got bit but it would've been worse if we didn't have it. The mosquitoes was what made me not want to be there! They usually go away when you have a campfire but it's not allowed right now😔. There's also 2 general stores near by that close early but one of them closes til 8 or 9 pm on Fri/Sat. I would stay here again if I knew the mosquitoes weren't going to be such a big problem! I can't tolerate the normal here and there mosquito.”

“We celebrated our FTFChurch Easter Camp 2018. The weather is nice. Sunny in the morning, A little cold in the night. The cabins are decks of 12 people with restroom. Bathrooms and showers are huge and the water is clean and clear. We love this place! Big fields to play soccer, basketball, basketball, softball and lots of outdoor games. As a church who loves to cook, we really love the kitchen area. All things are provided, clean and sinks are working really well. It is like a restaurant's kitchen. Five star for that. The chapel is big and the pulpit is really pleasing with big wooded cross on the wall. Our kids enjoyed the play grounds, the pingpong table and soccer table in the kitchen. A golf cart was provided for our senior pastor who's troubling walking. A ramp was built by the management for our churchmates who have their electronic wheel chair. Price wise. Supportive, friendly and caring staffs. Thank you,Lord for this Camp Grounds! We had an awesome Easter Camp.”

Gold Ledge Campground

“I loved that we had the option of chilling at the water by our site or going to the swimming hole. The water was so chill this year it was an easy innertube ride down the river into the swimming hole. (But most summers I do not recommend going down the river without a life vest.)I jumped off the rock! That was fun! But I highly recommend plugging your nose. I got all waterlogged which made the experience less fun. Campsites are close in proximity but not stacked on top of eachother. The walk-in sites go over seriously rocky terrain making a simple wagon difficult to pull!! They are also very far from the bathrooms.. The plus side of the walk-in sites is privacy from the main road. Especially if you're bad like me and my friends and are noisy late into the night and building small fires hoping no one sees LOL... Nice spot, not too much shade. Bring your canopies, lots of sunblock, and bug spray& centinela candles! The campground host is pretty easy going. There isn't much space for extra cars to park on-site, but there is free parking at the turnout across the road.”
