Coy Flat Campground

No water no fires . Just wish the website would have gave us a heads up
We stayed in 1-4 campsites, no River access like the pictures
Snakes around the campground and deers
to swim and fish you have to drive 12-16 miles down to poza,cliff diving river, lower coffee picnic area but the best place to go is before the bridge

We were here for a week on site 8 and 9. It's a nice campground but campsites are kinda close to each other although some of the campsites look apart from each other on the campground map. Once you see the campground turn right into it cause Google maps will tell you to continue past the entrance towards a narrow road with no entrance to campground and it's not easy making a u turn! I stayed on site 8 which had bathrooms and water close by. I heard other campers saying the water wasn't working near their site, I guess that's why everyone was coming for water by where we stayed. Bathrooms were okay at times but there is lots of flies and toilet paper does finish quickly so good thing we took our own. DON'T FORGET THE BUG SPRAY!!! We still got bit but it would've been worse if we didn't have it. The mosquitoes was what made me not want to be there! They usually go away when you have a campfire but it's not allowed right now😔. There's also 2 general stores near by that close early but one of them closes til 8 or 9 pm on Fri/Sat. I would stay here again if I knew the mosquitoes weren't going to be such a big problem! I can't tolerate the normal here and there mosquito.

Great camp site - and for the 3 days we were there it was only busy one day. Its a bit of a hike to the creek (about 1 mile) but its not bad. There were a lot of mosquitos - so bring lots of bug spray! Some camp sites were not very level, and others were small. One area recently had trees cut down - so be aware that campsites my be without shade! We stayed in site 3 and it was all around a great spot!

Very relaxing place to take the whole family and just enjoy.
