Goodwin Dam Recreation Area

Parking sucks but scenery is amazing.. Had to bring wagon so old man can experience this place.. Was a work out climbing up hill after the water area.. Had one dog kinda helping in one hand pulling in any direction she pleased lol and the other hand pulling a wagon making sure it didn't roll back down with my dog in it lol... This day was definitely an experience i wont forget.. But a good day all in all!

I have had amazing days here with my kids. It is peaceful and secluded. We pack a picnic and enjoy getting away from the city for hours. My tip if you come here is to be prepared for variations in water flow, if it's too high you can always head back to knights ferry. Also PICK UP YOUR TRASH, PLEASE AND THANK YOU. #LEAVENOTRACE

This place was so peaceful and clean. The atmosphere was amazing. Felt at peace here. Great for meditation and yoga.

Very cool place. Cold water can be flowing fast good fishing with some regulations posted on a sign. Great parking has bathroom near parking lot.

Beautiful place to visit and relax. Its a small walking trail less than a mile for sure but if you're near you should definitely come here!
