“My job takes me out with my clients 3 of 5 days a week. This was one such outting. California Agriculture Museum has loads of farming equipment from different eras of early farming here in California. This was my 1st visit here and I took loads of pictures”

“Aimed at encouraging children of all ages to pursue an interest in science and nature, the Explorit Science Center is a hands-on facility with fascinating exhibits. Some of the topics covered in the various exhibits include the planets, Comet Hale-Bopp and the Galapagos Islands. Kids can also participate in a wide range of interactive activities, including games and quizzes.”

“A really neat museum with lots and lots of tractors and related machinery. It's nice on Free Museum Day as they have extras (like running motors out front, cotton candy, and popcorn) but isn't super busy still. I wish it had more exhibits/information about crops grown in California and how early farmers grew crops without a lot of machinery. But it has a ton of cool tractors.”

“Very nice small museum. Enjoyed the art by the students. If you're on campus take a few minutes to stop by and check out some cool art.”

“I coordinated a wedding here in mid May and this venue was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us access to the interior of the house for photos and decor. Parking can be a difficult thing, but so long as you account for that, Gibson House is a beautiful event location. Even in the heat of an almost 90 degree day the shade from the trees kept everyone comfortable, and there was plenty of space for every part of the wonderful wedding.”

“This tiny museum right around the corner from all the restaurants and wine tasting in Winters of a little hard to spot and definitely worth the visit. If they had a little better signage then they would probably have more visitors to this small but interesting little museum. Centered around the printing press and the old weekly newspaper, there are plenty of photos and local history to absorb and enjoy.”

“This beautiful, well designed modern art museum is on the Davis campus. The opening reception of the new show was fun. There was a large area set up outside for kids to make things and explore their creativity. Food, desserts, and drinks, in the form of flavored water, was available. A musician provided entertainment. And the art exhibits were extensive and informational. It's always enlightening to see a show here because it's something you don't see anywhere else.”
