“I've been a long term customer of Avis/Budget since 2006. I've see a range of horrible customers come in and treat the staff disrespectfully. They've practiced far more patience than anyone should have to. I appreciate them immensely for always taking excellent care of me. I wouldn't rent anywhere else. I find that MOST of the customer complaints (not all) are from very petty, entitled and hostile people who believe that the "service" industry means "slave" industry. I've seen it numerous times over the past couple decades. Avis/Budget staff do the BEST they can to accommodate EVERYONE. I don't think I'd still be a customer had they not been the wonderful and caring they are. I'm sorry for those who legitimately have complaints, the rest of the bad customers make it challenging for everyone else. I give this location 5 stars for EXCELLENT customer service!”

“I had rented out one of their properties earlier this year for a weekend. The house was immaculate, truly a beautiful property. The service was spot on, there was a property manager that was their to set us up at our check-in and was available at all hours for all of our needs. One of the evenings I had hosted a larger party, Avi and his team had helped facilitate all logistics and arranged for security for the night. I was thoroughly impressed by the service and the properties in their portfolio speak for themselves. I highly recommend Essentialyfe for any event/short term rental!”

“I travel a lot, and when in the S.F. East Bay area I have rented at many locations, and now I have settled on Budget San Ramon as the best in the area for my purposes. The staff has been extremely helpful, going out of their way on various occasions to meet my car rental needs. The service I have been given at this location is outstanding. I was previously searching and comparing prices at multiple locations in this area but now I don't even routinely check the other locations -- because I have gotten the best service and help at this location, the price has almost always been the lowest of any price I have found in the area, and I have generally found the selection to be adequate to get a very nice and newer car. Having rented in many locations in the U.S., and also in various nations, the help I have received from Budget San Ramon in terms of convenience, helpfulness, and price is at or near the top of the list of my favorite places to rent. Going to this location through Crow Canyon Rd from Castro Valley where I am currently staying is beautiful, in wonderful contrast to going to some other locations. This is in a nice community, has had in my experience a kind and friendly staff, and even the owner is very friendly and helpful. Some tips from a frequent renter that may account for some of my excellent experience: -- Call ahead if you can to make sure they have the type of car you're looking for, if your needs are specific, or show up early to look over the selection. -- Treat everyone with exceptional kindness, and it will usually be returned to you. My experience with this rental agency has in this way been outstanding, 5 stars.”

“I picked up my rental 2 days ago for a 4-day rental. It went super smooth and had Great Customer Service provided by Rodolfo. He made the process super smooth and easy! Thank You Again! They have several vans that do the airport shuttle service, Quick and easy. They also have a greeter at the entrance that checks some of your documents and reminds you what’s standard at any car rental place (they will set a hold on your card for incidentals/tolls, etc., that’s the standard everywhere! Don’t act surprised). Also, if you are not planning on buying the insurance they offer, then be ready to provide your own (Yes, you need insurance when you rent any car!). If you have it ready, it’ll make it easier on you and on them, everything will be faster. When you arrive, expect a line, but they have several agents working to help out, they even have additional agents via an iPad, which makes the line go faster. Overall, Highly Recommended!!!”

They went over the deposit and cash deposit and proratition if we went over the 60min time for rental.
