“I came to this Ross to look for some shoes for my boys and their inventory was on the low side. I've been here a couple times in the past and it just seems to not be well stocked. Now in regards to covid-19 measures employees as well as customers must wear a mask at all times. They also keep count of how many people come in and out. When waiting in line there are markers on the floor to maintain proper distancing. Overall the place was not crowded at all.”

Not only named brand shoes, pants, shirts, and more for the whole family, including your pets needs. Other functional items, like kitchen ware, chairs, tools and toiletries, not to mention my favorite part, searching for that random Ross hidden gem. You search through the racks of inventory when suddenly~ Kablaam!!! I get slapped in the face with that stunner, that keeper, that perfect me item, you can't find it cheaper~ Then this happens... I start screaming out loud "Mom!!!! Mom!!! Where are you??? Can I get this??? Can I ???" My Girlfriend, say's... "We're at Ross and your Mother is at her house~What's wrong with you??? 54 year old Man, screaming for some tightie whities~ No!!! Can't have em. Mother gave me full "Popcorn Privilege" over you." I said, "What's that???" She says, "I get a front row seat with a Box of Popcorn while I watch your Mother kick your"... Anyway, you get the idea. Going to any Ross, for me has always been exciting, especially in San Carlos, where there's something for everyone and is areal retail gem in our Community. Victim Proof Yourself The only one that is gonna come on time to rescue you, is yourself We must vigilant about observing our surroundings, listening to that gut feeling, paying closer attention when leaving the stores, driving home and safely getting inside and locking the doors. There are so many Creepy night crawlers lurking outside. Since a huge number of Bay Area Retail stores were looted & closed. It makes San Mateo retail stores potential targets for groups of looters. So be careful and do anything you can to avoid the thieves and call 911 Use a decoy wallet and purse to take out with you. Keep your money and cards in a zip up travel wallet that lays next to your body. Just in case. To protect yourself from all the wild animals lurking outside, which these days ripping down your door, hell bent on doing something that cant be good. By the time help arrives it might be too late get yourself a big can of what stops a bear, I promise you, better than using a permanent solution it will give you plenty of time to victim Proof yourself. We are living in a beautiful world with monsters all around after shopping at Ross the trading post is where to get your camping supplies. “Overall the place is great however it does have it's faults for instance there are times when I go and there is a whole brand of damaged items (e.g. one time only the large Great Value Parmesan Cheese bottles were all dented as opposed to their perfectly fine alternatives). The fruits and vegetables are also lacking in quality and buying any pastries made by them can sometimes be a gamble in flavor and quality. For a Neighborhood Market this is quite concerning since it's focus is supposed to be food & quality. As for the positives of this place the shelves are rarely in disorder, they always seem to have most things they offer in stock most of the time and the self checkout process isn't a nightmare. The employees are very helpful and when there's an issue they get it resolved as soon as possible. I remember this one time there was an older lady having trouble with the self checkout so an employee helped her through the whole thing.”

“There has been alot of upgrades to this walmart . The place has been clean and well stocked. It looks so much nicer. The restrooms are always clean which is a plus. The downside is having a hard time getting help with all the locked cabinets, it takes 20 plus min to find someo e to open them and those buttons never work so you have to track down someone to come open. Alot of times workers are on their phones or busy chatting with each other to even help you. transients sometimes hang around outside. But as long as you are aware of your surroundings i have never had any problems.”
