“This was different but in a good way. I'm always looking to try new workouts and challenge my body. Hiitlates did just that, with the combination of HIIT and Pilates, it gave me what I wanted. The combination of both just worked and it provided a really great low-impact workout. Then it's the box. I felt like this was a magical box full of surprises. The boxes have everything you need for your workout. It had dumbells, kettlebells, bands, medicine ball, Pilates ball, etc.. You can adjust the bench/box to different settings for the different workouts. It was pretty interesting how it all worked. The workout itself was very fast pace. You’re constantly moving into the next move. A few issues, the music, the trainer, the welcoming. The music was not “hyped” enough to really get you going. I also felt like they need surround sound speakers. The music was playing from one speaker in the corner. The trainer, what was his name? That's right, he didn't introduce himself. There was no “good morning everyone, my name is..” It was just like boom here we go. That was odd to me. Also, no motivation really throughout the workout. Just a monotone voice saying good job. Not like, you got this, keep it going, you can do this. The welcome wasn't really a welcome. It was more like, “hi, your name? Ok, sign this, use any of the boxes in the front, and leave your stuff here.” Keep in mind this was my first time, I had no idea what was about to happen. Granted, I came in 3 mins early. But at least let me know what to expect. I was filling out a waiver/ form and he could have given me a mini intro of what to expect while I filled out the form. But I got nothing. Nonetheless, it was a great workout, it could have been an amazing workout if the music was good, loud, and if the trainer gave more “umf” and if I knew ahead of time what to expect. I am interested in coming again. They have other locations, so I might go check out one of those.”

“I cannot recommend Ashley Lane enough! I suffered from a herniated disc that left me feeling weak and unable to perform even basic daily activities. However, after working with Ashley , I feel stronger than ever before. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and always took the time to explain each exercise and how it would benefit me. She was patient, understanding, and always pushed me to achieve my best while keeping in mind my physical limitations. Ashley designed a personalized training plan that focused on strength and flexibility exercises that were specifically tailored to my needs. She made sure to regularly check in with me to ensure that the plan was working and adjust it accordingly. Thanks to Ashley's guidance, I was able to gradually increase my strength and endurance, and my pain levels decreased significantly. She helped me build confidence in my body's abilities and provided a safe and supportive environment to do so. What sets Ashley apart is her dedication to my progress and her ability to listen and adapt the training plan to my specific needs. If you're looking for a personal trainer who is both knowledgeable and supportive, look no further than Ashley Lane! Overall, I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking to improve their physical fitness, especially those who may be dealing with injuries or physical limitations. She truly is a fantastic trainer who will help you achieve your goals and feel stronger than ever before!”

“This review is long overdue! Been coming here since October 2020. Friendly gym and I love the atmosphere. The coaches push you to do your best. They really hone in on form and technique. The classes are always different and you definitely will not get bored. I love how they offer different types of classes: boot camp, weight training and a boxing boot camp. I have definitely seen a difference in my strength, cardio and endurance since joining.”

“I wandered into Metcon Long Beach (Formerly Crossfit Belmont Heights), unsure of my fitness goals and ambitions. However, shortly after, I was convinced I had found the right place. I was greeted by friendly staff and encouraged to talk to HR Carlos. Connor and Carlos ( Staff) allowed me to try out the class for that day. That same time, I witnessed the family environment coupled with challenging workouts. My classmates stepped through the door with a big smile and paired up with me. The instructor ( Chris) carefully demo each exercise and patiently correct my form to avoid injury. METCON is a great gym, and I encourage anyone interested in working out surrounded by good vibes and under the supervision of a coaches to come and check it out.”

“This was my 1st time at Dignity Health Sports Park, and it was a great experience overall. I've been to concerts at the big stadium when it used to be Stubhub stadium, but never knew there was a tennis center. This stadium has a seating capacity of 8000 and I was fortunate to choose seats on the west side, as I avoided the setting sun getting in my eyes, allowing me to fully enjoy the Ultimate Tennis Showdown matches. The stadium is clean and organized. Like many other venues they also have a clear bag policy. At $30, the parking fee felt a bit steep, but it's not unusual for events. Additionally, when leaving, there were only a few exits available, leading to some congestion since people have to wait for on coming traffic to pass. However, the exit process was quicker than expected, so it didn't cause any significant delays. Overall, Dignity Health Sports Park provided a top-notch venue for the Ultimate Tennis Showdown. The great seating choice, cleanliness, and efficient exit process all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this stadium for anyone looking to catch a sports event in a comfortable and well-organized setting.”

“I’ve been going to Advanced Wellness (AW) for the last 3 years. I’ve had several of my friends join and we all love it! I love it for a number of reasons. Before going to AW, I was intimidated going to a gym. My family signed up for a gym membership when I was a kid and that gym was acquired by 24hour. I have a $30/year membership but I rarely use it. On the rare occasions when I went to 24hour, I would wander from machine to machine not getting much out of it. Or I would struggle on the bench press by myself. Leo and Robbi have built a completely different experience. They started by building community at AW where everyone working out in a time slot knows each other’s name. The staff push you to reach your potential but in a fun way. They make sure your technique is correct before encouraging you to push it to the next level. Leo and Robbi are so knowledgeable with body movement and mechanics and they pass this knowledge down to their staff. The staff keep a smile on your face during the workout. The workouts are varied and challenging but you can choose how much you want to push yourself. I started out using a large band to assist with my pull-ups three years ago. Now I can do pull-up’s with a 45lb weight hanging from my waist! I’ve seen the workouts translate to my life in many ways. I’ve protected a lower back issue by strengthening my core and legs. I have much better posture. I’m a much stronger skier (I’m skiing like I did in the 90’s when I lived in Vail and skied 90 days a year). I took the confidence and strength gained at AW and used it to swim Alcatraz without being a very good swimmer ;-) Come check it out. Highly recommended.”

“Dean is one of the best Muay Thai instructors in the area. Whether you are trying to build a skill, develop self-defense, or get a good workout in, his charismatic attitude and dedication to his craft shows in how he coaches his students, of any level. I've been training with Dean for about 6 months now and I've learned a lot. Looking forward to training more with him!”

“I was having trouble because I play guitar and my arm was sore and aching I was referred by a friend and went to Stephanie's studio and she gave me the most excellent massage. I was impressed by her calming music, her touch and her vibe. I was asked where does it hurt? and she was able to identify the muscles and worked on the arm. During the massage and nice music, she was able to take the pressure in my arm away. I was so relieved because I was going to play guitar for the weekend and I have never felt better!! thank you Stephanie!!”

“This location is great, it has a lot of options to do different routes for walkers and runners. The playground is great too for the kids to play afterwards. I cannot praise enough the teachers. Shelby and Ann are amazing! We have been dealing with some creepy guys in the last few months but the instructors always make sure to handle the situation the safe way. Only negative point is that there isn’t a way to work out there if it rains. Today the class got moved to alga Norte and it was a good (but not perfect) alternative.”

“The BEST gym ever. I’ve never felt so comfortable going to workout, and that’s thanks to the wonderful coaches at Fit Body. I cannot stress it enough, they are absolutely AMAZING. They make you feel so welcome and do such a great job at personalizing each workout to accommodate your needs. They also keep the gym super clean and sanitized, which I really appreciate. If I could give them 100 stars I would. If you’re hesitant about joining, don’t be. You won’t regret it!”

“Lisa Green is an amazing physical therapist. She is very clear in her explanations, and great at answering questions. Her evaluations and physical therapy work is very well laid out to lead to a positive outcome; and she looks holistically at the whole body/person, not just the specific diagnosis (in my case, a back issue), since something going on in one body part so often affects other b body parts. The staff at Pacific THERx are organized and prompt with communications, paperwork, and so on. They are all very nice!”
