“They have many delightful programs. Today we attended their adult coloring program. Then, Long Beach Sustainable program. We learned how to grow vegetables from snips from organic produce purchased from the store. This is also a nice way to meet your neighbors.”

“My office is just below the library and I often go the gardens here to decompress. It's "old world" and you can smell that rich deep history as you walk inside. They also have summer concerts in the library's grounds!”

“They remodeled the Libray very nicely. The open space is excellent for comfort, the wooden floors and furniture is favorable. And the staff members are very kind and helpful to guests. The library is very well lit and the huge windows gives the library an exquisite look to it. Thier is still so much to say but I will conclude this statement right here. Till then I will really recommend this library to people whom need the extra room.”

“Nice library with easy assistance. Access is tough. Although it does have ADA access. It's quite a climb from every direction.”

“Very good library! Lots of computers for use and very friendly staff. They have a great amount of books as well as magazines and papers, and if they don’t have it they are pretty good about trying to find it for you. But please, City of San Diego fix the men’s restroom here. I live further south so I won’t be coming to this branch anymore but for the sake of everyone who still does please fix it. Of the two sinks that are there only one has soap and a really bad hand dryer (no pepper towels because going green). The other sink is usually broken/out of order. And that is often the case with one or both urinals as well. There could also easily be another stall for use. I’m not going to rate the entire library solely on the bathroom and overall it’s great, but I pretty much wrote this review specifically for the bathroom. So I guess library is 5/5 men’s bathroom is 1/5.”

“It's clean, it's comfortable, sometimes it is quiet, and I love libraries. The Librarians and Aides are super helpful and friendly. There is a pretty darn good selection of books to choose from, and lots of reference sources. The librarians will help you do whatever you need. Computers are open most of the time, but the best time to go is before the high schoolers get out of school for the day. The library is one of my favorite places to go in Arvin. I am actually trying to get a Friends of the Library group started there, so if anyone is interested, leave your name at the desk. ????”
