“Love coming here for when I need research materials I cant find in the digital world. Lots of scheduled activities for little kids. The location up on a quiet hill is great and conducive for studying. Parking lot is ample. Staff have been very helpful. Never really thought i would need a library at this age of high tech internet etc but nothing beats being able to flip through pages of a book.”

“It's a very small library with not a whole lot to choose from. They can order books from other libraries, which is nice. That said, staff is nice, although they seem to be understaffed here a lot. It's a quiet branch, which makes it an ideal place to just sit down and study or read.”

“This is a private library only open to residents of the Villages country club. The public library with similar name is "Village Square Branch", about 3 miles away.”

“Close to home, great location, and love that they have a great section for the the kids. They have some amazing items in the library but they are very lacking on their book selections for catalogues such as New Age and Supernatural. Even found their parenting section a bit lacking. But all in all a good literary that we enjoy going to. I do not like that they don’t give you a written note of when the books are due. Yes in 3 weeks but I wouldn’t remember when I took out the books or when they are due. It’s better to just write it down for us like regular libraries do.”

“There is parking for owners of electric vehicles near the library. The two EVOcharge stations provide free charging. Attention: These slots are next to the handicapped parking. Users occasionally exhibited anger issues. The LAPL branches in Playa Vista and Westchester are quite close to each other. They both have their own merits with the Westchester Library offering locked restrooms as compared to Playa Vista offering easily accessible restrooms. Parking is comparable. However, Playa Vista’s branch does not seem to have chargers for electric vehicles. The surroundings in Westchester offer more industrial views whereas the neighborhood of the Playa Vistas library is dominated by luxury apartment buildings and an Elementary School. WiFi signal seems to be stronger at the Westchester branch as compared to the Playa Vista branch.”

“You will not want to miss a trip to the museum. Set aside a few hours. There is so much to see and feel. There are historical tangibles that are sacred and kept safe here. I was changed after a tour. Lloyd was so generous and knowledgeable. A real treasure.”

“If you want to step back in time, visit this little gem of a library in Ben Lomond. They still use a card catalog, the librarian types on an IBM Selectric typewriter, and they rely on volunteers. They have a special section for local history, with magazine articles about locals such as Coffee Corner and Rowardennan. Do not expect any newfangled ebooks or scanning devices. Your library card will be carefully typed and then handed to you. Not to be missed.”
