“I was there about 53 years ago. I lived at 205 N. Hermosa. I was only 8 years old. I had got up on the roof of the Sierra Madre Elem School to retrieve a baseball. I broke a tile shingle in order to get my baseball. Yep, they caught me. Took me into the police station and held me until my parents came. They were very nice to me. “I want to thank the Sutter Creek Police officer that came to our rescue (sorry I do not no his name) on Friday night at about 10:30 pm, July 29th. We had a flat tire next to the Trinity Episcopal Church. He went way beyond being hospitable because not only did he help my family locate where our spare tire was, it was in a weird spot, but he changed our tire as well. And he was fast! It was quite amazing because I certainly could have changed the tire myself but he insisted on doing it with no hesitation. “Attended the Public safety job fair and to my surprise the academy was recently remodeled. I was thrilled that so many public safety agencies were there to recruit and show support to so many people in need of a job or who would like to pursue a career in public safety. Years ago I took the basic dispatch course and it was a totally different campus then. Staff is and always has been very helpful and their training for officers, dispatchers, and other public safety careers are outstanding. Well worth my time.”

“I feel we are lucky to have this station in Altadena. Any time I have called they have been most accommodating.. Some things have been minor but they have always been willing to send and officer out to the house. Also I want to thank them for being an important part of the safety for our Altadena a Guild of Huntington Hospital Home Tour for many years. They are very community minded as is our Fire Department . Before 911 I taught my children the phone number of the Sheriffs Department. They responded to my daughter' s call when she was 7 years old and it resulted in saving a 3 year old child's life who had stopped breathing. That child is now 40 years old. I give my grateful thanks to our Altadena Sheriffs Department!”

“The police officers and sheriffs don't get appreciated enough for dealing with so much crap here in San Clemente. Seriously, some of us have responsibilities and we need our peace and quiet. Noise complaints are actually a big issue here in San Clemente. They can tag your home for noise complaints and fine you. The officers are quick to respond to even minor complaints. They were polite, friendly, helpful, and informative. They were pleasant which is a big deal if you're going through something stressful. I had some stuff stolen and was kind of in a panic. The sheriff who responded was calm, pleasant, and reassuring which really made me feel better about the whole thing. Overall, they have been the best I've encountered in terms of how fast they respond, professionalism, and helpfulness.”

The girl that answered the phone was professional and took my information & said they should be there shortly. 2 officers came out very quickly & had to yell over the loud music to be heard.
