“The location is excellent! Great walking trails and major stores within walking distance. If you plan to stay for several days, it's best to arrive mid-week to secure a spot and be sure to empty your tank before you get settled. There's a dump station but no campsite sewer hookups. The manager Derek does a fantastic job keeping the place orderly. The “feed the meter” no-reservation, cash-only system takes a minute to understand but it’s fair and works well for the spontaneous travelers.”

“Wonderful woman owner who was not shy about making recommendations when we asked her for help on what was good. The food was plentiful, tasty, and very much homemade. My husband loved the jerk chicken, loved the spice levels, and the flavors. The red peas and rice were super flavorful, and the fried sweet plantain was delicious. I had the stew curry chicken, and it's certainly whole chicken cooked so that the bones lent flavor to all the vegetables and the rice. Authenticity was key, and they offered my husband a ginger malt non-alcoholic beverage that was really unique. I was grateful that they had no-sugar seltzers for all that I really wanted to try out the hibiscus lemonade. I just can't handle the sugar these days. She was kind enough to give us fresh raisin buns to take home for desserts, and the trays of food were enough to give both my husband and I two meals. Super generous with the portions.”

“The beds were absolutely amazing and fluffy, the indoor pool offered a hot tub and a pool, the prices were amazing for the quality of the hotel and the breakfast was one of the best that I have ever had in a hotel. I came here for a Robotics competition with my team, four people to a room, but it was still amazingly comfortable. It felt like I was at home in the safety of my room. I really recommend staying here if you need a comfortable and affordable place to sleep for the night.”
