In the days leading up to my birth she took the time to address my concerns and ensure I had the best change possible to deliver vaginally. When I wasn’t progressing in labor she and the l&d nurses were able to offer the correct interventions to keep things moving and ultimately give my son and I the best possible outcome. She even made sure she was there personally despite it being Christmas Eve. Thanks to her guidance and empathy I was able to have the birth of my dreams with a must easier post-partum recovery.”

I would like the director of the hospital to know, and her supervisor, how excellent her help was. I had a special request, and she was informative and personable. As an historian and writer, and preservation advocate, I hope the new admin will consider displaying the historical Sanitarium artifacts in a higher traffic area, such as the lobby area, so patients and visitors can appreciate the history of the location and understand that the hospital values this history over a near hidden basement cabinet. If this isn't possible, than donating them to the Boulder Historical Museum in the name of the hospital, would preserve these artifacts for generations to come. The photos and artifacts are treasures, and I'd hate for the hospital transition team to overlook the historical, and public interest value, of these items. Dr. Pater was in within 5 minutes to see me, and we discussed what was going on with my wrist, and I decided to get another Cortisone shot. He was honest in telling me that there are so many shots he can give me without injuring the wrist.
