“This is a beautiful trail that is about 1.8 miles up the mountain and then you take the same 1.8 mile trail back down. It is very well marked and it is pretty easy to hike. They put big flat stepping stones across every creek bed. They also put in some flat stone steps on some of the hills. There are pretty rocks, boulders, creeks, colorful plants and trees. We also saw some birds and squirrels. We enjoyed our visit.”

“This is the TH for Pawnee Pass as well as a shorter trip just to Long Lake. The pass is awesome but a serious hike and watch the weather for thunderstorms in the summer!”

“I love this little park! I go there just for walks with my dog. It is a great option for me when I am running errands in the Target area and want to take my dog for a quick walk. They do have restrooms, but I don't know if they are open year round. They have a picnic area too and a rentable space in the barn. There are usually at least a few people playing on the playground, but it is rarely super busy. This place is just very pretty and a great place for a picnic or a quick walk. There are also owls in the area, and you can sometimes spot them. You can also see people skydiving off in the distance. It is just a nice area and pretty peaceful.”

“Open park, nice friendly and clean. Has Wide grassy areas and children play areas; dog park. Some limited bike paths; nice hiking trails going uphill. No off path biking / hiking, somewhat restrictive. Also can get crowded in week end. Good if you're looking for a piece of a big park in nobo.”

“This New Jersey-visiting guy took this hike unprepared for how the altitude change can affect you. My family and I got here yesterday thinking altitude-schmaltitude until taking this hike. While our Boulder friends warned us about this, I observed locals running up and down this trail with their dogs and thought this shouldn't be so bad, right? Boy was I wrong. The hike is designed well: switchbacks, steps, sign posts at forks, clear trails and oh my, what beautiful views. Pine trees are everywhere, prickly-pear cacti snuggle the rocky sides of the trail and the Rocky Mountains make this a wonderful hike to stop, drink some water, inhale the fresh air, take a photo and reflect. I give this trail four stars because it can seem treacherous and there are no markers to educate you about what you are seeing in the views and vista's. I've been on those trails and have enjoyed them more.”

“Love walking alongside the creek to the very edge before it becomes private property! Unique art is covertly scattered around the area. Fantastic access to the water and serene views that surround you on all sides. Eben G. Park has a few picnic tables, biking/running trails, great open space with luscious grass, a small playground, lots of grandiose trees for shade, and public restrooms. It’s a great spot/park to spend some time in nature and isn’t nearly as crowded in the morning! Perfect for cooling down in the summer, too, especially if you bring tubes!”

“The location is excellent! Great walking trails and major stores within walking distance. If you plan to stay for several days, it's best to arrive mid-week to secure a spot and be sure to empty your tank before you get settled. There's a dump station but no campsite sewer hookups. The manager Derek does a fantastic job keeping the place orderly. The “feed the meter” no-reservation, cash-only system takes a minute to understand but it’s fair and works well for the spontaneous travelers.”

“Great walk! It’s so nice to have the gorgeous mountains in the background on this peaceful, easy stroll. Long enough that you can get a workout in, but easy enough that you don’t need to break a sweat if you don’t want to. Definitely hope to come back many times, especially in the different seasons!”

“The trail head is at the end of a well maintained dirt road with parking spaces for about ten vehicles. There's a pit toilet that's as clean as they come and a post board with maps and information. I was here for stargazing with an astrophysicist and a group of other tourists so I didn't hike much on the trail.”

“Great hike just west of Boulder or right up Coal Creek Canyon. The hike has a couple difficult spots and an area of steep stairs. The sections down by the creek are beautiful and relaxing. The trail is mostly well maintained with several gorgeous views of the west side of Eldorado canyon.”

“Great, family friendly hiking trail that gives you a lot of those awe inspiring and awesome Colorado views. Be careful as there are still some steep drop offs with all those great views. Also, the trail does get more challenging after the turn off from the Fowler trail, but still doable for most people in decent shape. Enjoy, have fun, and be safe out there. Oct 2021”

“This is my favorite place to go for a walk with the dog. Always a good time for all. Offleash dogs aloud on the west lake if they are under control, well socialized and don't bother the wildlife. Oh, and pick up after your dog.”

“Wow, this is an absolutely amazing bike park. There is truly something for everyone here- from pump tracks, dual slalom tracks, stairs, slopestyle courses and single-track and everything in between. There is terrain for every level rider as well, so you can work your way up. The views of the Rockies are incredible from everywhere in the park! We went on one of the first nice weather Saturdays and even with the park being busy, there is so much to ride that everyone is spread out naturally... you're never waiting long to drop in. The park is very well cared for and maintained to perfection. There is a huge dog park, various walking trails and playgrounds as well for the whole family to enjoy. This place blew our minds as we have nothing even close to the likes of it back in upstate NY. I highly recommend checking it out.”
