“Kathleen is a gifted healer whose magic hands, heart and spirit combine to rejuvenate and elevate. I highly recommend Kathleen for anyone who lives on this planet and could use some healing energy!”

“The location is excellent! Great walking trails and major stores within walking distance. If you plan to stay for several days, it's best to arrive mid-week to secure a spot and be sure to empty your tank before you get settled. There's a dump station but no campsite sewer hookups. The manager Derek does a fantastic job keeping the place orderly. The “feed the meter” no-reservation, cash-only system takes a minute to understand but it’s fair and works well for the spontaneous travelers.”

“It's beautiful here! Well kept! Won't put a big dent in your pocketbook!”

“Easy hike! Parking is tough so come early or you will have to turn around and hike somewhere else. If you park illegally you WILL get a ticket!”

“If you can get Ouzel Falls in one hour, it hard to just stop there. There were still 3 feet tall snow on the trail after the intersection to bluebird on Memorial Day Weekend.”

“Great times to be had at their claim. Great hosts! Good food. Fun stuff, looking for the shiney! Great for all ages!”

“This is a spectacularly beautiful lake. The hike is 2 miles up (and up and up!) from Finch Lake, but if you have the energy it's definitely worth your time to visit. I didn't visit the campsite but I could (barely) see it from the lake and it's fairly well protected from the wind by some moderately-sized pine trees.”

“Not a difficult hike. About 5 hours round trip, amazing views and when you make it to the lake is even better. It will take your breath away!”

“Didn't actually camp here but spent a good amount of the day hanging out at this location. Gorgeous view and very clean!”

“The privy is hysterical, but it was a great little spot to camp. Right on top on a hill.”

“This is a nicely-kept campsite near Finch Lake. A privy is nearby, but not too close. :-)”

“Great camp ground had a blast! I drove my sedan and made it just fine, drive SLOW on that dirt road there are some nasty potholes and rocks sticking out if your in a larger vehicle then no worries drive 20mph you will be just fine. There’s no water at the campgrounds so bring plenty of your own, also bring a chainsaw and splitter they have plenty of dead wood to be cut up. The grounds keeper that was on duty during our stay was a great guy he was kind and very informative we stayed from 7/22-7/25-2019 3 nights 4 days and would love to come again”

“Great area for the campers. Located next to Brainard Lake in the Indiana Peaks Wilderness area. This area sees a lot of visitors not just because of the mountains and lakes, but the moose. Visitors need to remember they are wild animals.”

“Great place to go hiking and unwind. Close to excellent waterfalls. The sights and sounds will feed your soul.”

“Great place to hike! Wonderful Colorado scenery. Would highly recommend.”

“Excellent place to camp near the Rocky Mountains National Park. The price per night is 12$ (Up to July 2018). The place is equipped with a safety bear box metal type, which has lots of room for storage. The campground has some portable bathroom units which were nice and clean. There is no phone signal. Not at all. Nothing. So if you come here you can spend some quality time with your companionship or yourself. Also this campground is just 1 hour away from Boulder which is a cool town to visit as well.”

“Great experience. Camp sites set apart from each other just enough. Well maintained with abundant wildlife and short drive to Estes Park. There are bear sightings in this area so be sure to keep a clean camp and store food in boxes provided. We had bear sign in our camp ground but no problems. Love this area!”
