“What an absolute gem, full of fun things to discover. Not simply an antique store, because it has so many items you can use every day rather than just displaying them. Not simply a thrift store, because it’s so beautifully curated that you get to enjoy the thrill of discovery without having to sift through the worthless stuff. You can easily spend an hour in this beautiful little space, flipping through western-themed books, discovering vintage Colorado themed souvenirs, stocking up on housewares that “aren’t made like that anymore”, and chatting with the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable owner about the history and stories behind all the goods.”

“This is the buffet at the Monarch Casino. Very good selection with lots of options. For dinner, you get two tickets for crab and/or lobster. The tickets are interchangeable. I usually just get double crab legs. Everyone can find something they like.”

“We loved this cute mountain coffee and ice cream stop. We had the vanilla London fog and turkey egg and cheese bagel. I was a little disappointed because our bagel was not made in house. It was still good but I do like fresh made eggs.”

“Best prices and bud in all of the mountains! Great daily discounts! Great staff and owners! Would recommend this place over anywhere else in the mountains!”

“We were in the area for a gallery opening when we noticed the shop and walked in to find the owner and another couple in a tasting of fine olive oils and aged Balsamic vinegars. We were invited right in and enjoyed the owner's expertise on everything in the tasting. I left with a bag full of the best Italian products, just delicious oils, vinegars, pasta (both dried and frozen), pestos of different flavors, and more. Since we live about 30 minutes away (luckily), we are driving over, today, to restock! SO worth your regular visits!”

“OK they are a great casino..their machines do not lock up at 140 so that you have to wait for your jackpot! You actually earn money based on how much you have gambled that day..employees are so nice..points earn hotdogs nachos wings etc and no charge with points..clean bathrooms and casino..but still a nice smaller feel..check them out”

“The owner has set the standard for what Good Samaritan mine clean up is. Take a look at the USFS AML maps online. The bipartisan infrastructure law is supposed to encourage cleanup and restoration of long abandoned mines. God bless you for being the one to show how that is done by example. As far as the bad review, remember, these are folks that need signs telling them not to swim in the Grand Prismatic. Everyone else notices and values all the effort put into making it EHWR. The EHWR is teaming with wildlife. It is not a zoo or a tourist spot. It is a refuge. For animals, plants, and the human spirit.”

“We were in dispersed camping nearby and this was our go to spot to pay for laundry and showers! We were so thankful this was here! They have very nice facilities and a great store to get most of the things you need while camping. We found out they just recently changed ownership this year and were trying to see if they offer monthly rates in the very least during low season. We would love to come stay in our rv for the winter.”

“Living in Texas, it's hard finding great BBQ anywhere else. The food at JKQ was good but could have used a little more seasoning and smoke. The sausage was good, however the brisket, lamb, and chicken were not as good as I'm used to. The baked beans were great and some of the best that I have tasted. The customer service was phenomenal and made the experience better. At the end of our lunch, my wife ordered the peanut butter cake and it was one of the best cakes that I've ever tasted.”

“Quick and efficient service! I've taken my Audi in multiple times for repairs and have always been satisfied. The quality of service is beyond compare to any mechanic in the area, and it's incredible to have someone who specializes in European vehicles right in my backyard.”

“Coffee was on point and one of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name behind the coffee shop counter, but that man definitely knows how to whip up a good coffee!. Everything was homemade and could be customized. The atmosphere was inviting- the shop does share a location with a brewery so get your coffee in the am and come back for a beer in the pm. Looked like a great place to hang out with friends.”

“Daniel is an amazing mechanic and super nice guy. This is one of the very few shops I'd actually trust to take my truck.”

“So much variety in the campground mini mart. Friendly staff and guests of the park too 😃 They have a dump station and we got diesel. It's safe to say that all of our needs were satisfied. We'd definitely stay here in the future.”

“Best restaurant in the Monarch. All the food we got was excellent. I was surprised as this was not the high end restaurant. The staff was excellent every time we visited. I did not like the selection of teas and mentioned when I went to Starbucks and they gave me delicious tea as a replacement. Go to 25/7 it is the well above especially in casinos.”

“Tom was fast responsive. Reasonably priced and did quality work. I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel with a 70 year old condo so there was a lot of work to get my kitchen electrical system modernized and up to code. I will definitely hire Tom again for my next electrical work.”

“Little distillery open on back yard with tables and live music Sunday nights. Sounds like they are renovating the inside. Would love to see it when it’s finished. Great drinks and very friendly people. stopped in on a whim while driving past and were so happy we did!”

“Cannot express how wonderful and perfect Blue Sky Mountain Ranch! With a group of 11 people (with additional day guests), we not only have the best weekend at their home, but had the most memorable and incredible wedding on their property! Kevin and Jennifer were such amazing hosts - answering all of our questions, helping with logistics and providing great information. The views of this home are unlike you’ve seen and it’s so close to Denver area. The house had so many amenities and pretty much had everything we needed for the weekend. Kevin also took our group on ATV tours which was one of the highlights of the weekend! So so fun! Highly highly recommend this home for your next vacation or wedding!! We will definitely be back!”
