“The Oberon House is a special place. Owners Gregg Dirks and Terri Tochihara-Dirks interact daily with the residents and staff, which sets the tone for a facility where people are authentic, affectionate, and genuinely caring. My 83-year-old mom is significantly disabled from a stroke. At The Oberon, I rest easy knowing that despite her challenges advocating for herself, I can count on the staff at all levels to address her needs and concerns immediately. It is rare to see the compassion and kindness I witness there. Front-desk staff, CNAs, QMAPs, dining room staff, the resident services director, the executive director, the facilities crew, housekeeping, and the on-site hair stylist all treat residents in a manner that says, “I see you, and I care about you.” Yesterday I attended an outdoor concert/picnic for residents. Staff stayed overtime or left to pick up their grandchildren only to return to participate in what felt akin to a family reunion. At The Oberon House there is no passing the buck or obfuscation. Family members are informed of what’s happening on a regular basis and treated with the same respect afforded the residents. If you want a true “Place for Mom (or Dad)” that feels like home, come and see what Gregg and Terri have to offer.”

This addiction treatment center understands that, and they use a holistic approach to healing. This means that they treat the whole person, not just the addiction. They address all aspects of the person's life- physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual- in order to help them heal holistically. I believe this holistic approach is essential for healing addiction and I would recommend this treatment center to anyone looking for help with their addiction.”

“I was gifted this class from my older brother who is a United States marine. While although I don’t own a gun, I may decide to one day and my brother has always stressed the importance of gun safety regardless of if you own one or not and the importance of confidence and competence when operating one. He signed me up for the perfect course! The instructor, Jonathan, did an amazing job teaching everything from the anatomy of different types of guns, gun safety, concealed carry etiquette, and the legality behind the permit. He is very likable, funny, and knowledgeable. I was easily the most inexperienced in the class, but he made me feel welcome and I left with a new skill-set and confidence. He really knows what he’s doing, definitely recommend this course!”

“Honestly, this place really does help and I feel they reallt do care about you. Ive never witnessed any of the staff "gossip" about patients, as previously stated. Ive also never known of anyone "teaming up and bullying" anyone. As a matter of fact, in my personal experience, the ONLY thing ANYONE there, from front desk staff to the counselors, doctors, even the dosing nurses, has only ever tried to help me. When I went here the counselor I was assigned to was Vinny, whom sadly enough left before I left the program because he was every bit of AMAZING! I cannot begin to describe the level of professionalism and knowledge he displayed as well as the level of care! Well to be honest, every counselor that I worked with was very knowledgeable and their credentials surely matched that. Prior to attending ARTS, I would argue that the only counselors that are useful to an addict are those that have experienced addiction themselves. As of the writing of this review, I could not disagree more with that statement. Both Vinny as well as my group counselor, Angel, had at minimum a masters degree and their studies into the HORRIBLE disease of addiction certainly has paid off. At least I would think it has. I can imagine that if all the years they put into their studies resulted in saving at least one life, then it would've been worth it. Well lemme say...BOTH Vinny and Angel saved my life and for that reason,, I will forever be in their debt. Vinny, if ever you read this, I wish you nothing but happiness as you navigate the ups and downs of parenthood and I REALLY hope that you someday decide to start counseling again because you really do have a knack for helping people battle such a God awful disease. You too Angel, which I have no idea if you are still with ARTS or not but I hope you continue doing what your best at as well. Wow, this is a waaayy longer review than I had planned... Anyways, I'm sure after reading this you are wondering why and the hell I only gave four stars lol. The reason I took a star away is because I feel it took FOREVER to "phase" to the next level of treatment. At the time, I felt that the process of reaching phase one status was hindering my sobriety. I was sober and had MONTHS AND MONTHS of clean UA's, yet for some rhyme or reason I STILL couldn't have the privilege of receiving additional take-homes! It was always something, ex missing paperwork, ie a release needed signed or an assessment needed updated...whatever the case, it was always due to something out of my control which I feel is not fair AT ALL. Other than that, excellent program”

“I rented a 4 X 7 utility trailer to move a refrigerator from this location. I was a little nervous because of all the low star and negative review of this location, but it was the closest one to me, so I gave it a shot. I am so glad that I took a chance with this location because Richard Swanson the service associate that greeted me was wonderful. This was the first time that I have ever used a trailer of any kind, so I was a little nervous. Richard very patiently answered all my questions and helped me select the correct hitch that I need. (I had no clue). He was exceedingly kind and knowledgeable, getting me checked out and on the road quickly and efficiently. When I returned the trailer Richard also helped with that and it could not have been more essay. I pulled into the parking lot and he was there to wave me into the area to complete my return. When he got me into position, he unhooked the trailer and muscled it back in to the lineup so that I did not have to back it in myself. The whole process took less than five minutes and I never had to get out of my vehicle. Thank you so much Richard you were fantastic and I would highly recommend this location. Don’t let the low marks fool you, Richard it was a pleasure to work with.”

“Working with Jen is a dream come true. She tailors workouts for my specific goals, and adjusts as needed. For instance, I wanted to do some TRX workouts, and the next time we met, she had those integrated into my workout. She is knowledgeable about physiology and the best exercises to achieve particular goals (like strengthening certain areas to avoid injuries common for runners). Her personality and style is also fantastic; she is a warm and funny person who made me feel comfortable from the start. In addition, she changes up the exercise routine so I don't get bored--but not so often that I'm constantly confused by what we are doing on any given day. Lastly, her rates are very reasonable for such personal attention.”

“I'm proud to work at a place that embraces resident-centered care. We encourage each other to do fun, spontaneous activities with our residents. Our chaplain and I have baked cookies, lasagna, and other things with residents. I recently joined an activity called lunch bunch, where we gathered some residents and set up a really nice table and sat and had lunch with them. We have fun committees like gardening committee, decorating committee, and even a pet committee. It's a cute, home-like environment here. I was a nurse in a hospital before, and I've had a great, fun, home-like experience over the last year I have worked here.”
