“Rob and Dustin are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. And their willingness to share their fishing knowledge of current conditions has helped make my trips very successful. Fishing this past week was so phenomenal that I extended my stay an additional night(Great cozy bunkhouses). Going off of Rob's fly recommendations and what parts of the lake to fish, I caught lots of trout, all over 21", and 90% in less than 2' of water. The cooler weather has turned Spinney on! The best week I've ever had fly fishing. Highly recommend stopping in on your way to the lake to say hi and find out what's working and where to go, may save you a day or two of trying to figure it out on your own....”

“This was the first time we used a GC due the scope of the project (kitchen remodel with wall removal and large hardwood floor refinishing). Costin understood we were on a tight budget and wanted to do as much of the job that we thought we could. The subs Costin oversaw (flooring and cabinet maker) were elite. Costin managed the subs work and when we thought it was good, if it didn't meet his standards, he would have them do it again. Definitely had our best interest in the forefront. When we did expand the project, he helped achieve that as cost efficient as possible.”

“We planned our visit ahead from West Virginia and online reservations were very easy. We confirmed as the date came closer and had no problems setting up our stay. The staff and wranglers were respectful and very helpful. Fern was very kind and really made us feel welcome upon arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of activities for all ages on the ranch from horseshoe to horseback riding. The animals on the ranch range from chickens, a bunny, mules, donkeys, cows, and several breeds of horses. Fishing excursions can also be set up with Mr. Larry. The owners Jim and Kelly really go above and beyond for their guest. I especially appreciate the peacefulness and privacy of the ranch. The breakfasts are very tasty but our cabin had a stove and microwave. I highly recommend”

“~family owned and operated... I'd been super late on paying my storage fee a couple of times and they never hassled me about it, I'd just pay it up as soon as I could. Very laid back place, the cheapest storage rates you will ever find in the state of Colorado...they're the old fashioned stand up, look you in the eye, shake your hand, honor system kinda people that run this business. They are outstanding*”

“Adorable cabin! Easy access right off the highway and the cabins are super cute, very clean and well supplied! Had a couple bottles of water for us and chocolates on the bed which our 3 year old loved! First place I’ve ever stayed that supplied a floor fan in the bathroom, this place gets me :)!! Nothing worse than melting under a hair dryer after refreshing shower so I usually pack my own floor fan LOL. Loved the area and the food truck in the parking lot with prime rib sandwiches was DELICIOUS!! Owners were super responsive to text messages and great communication! Would definitely recommend this place!”

“We stayed out here and it was beautiful and quiet, there is a gas station across the road and the best part was at night how the stars light up in the darkness!”

“This is a fantastic place to hike and camp close to Denver. There are 2 pay campsites on either sides of US 285 and there is free dispersed camping along 126 and 126.A. If you are dispersed camping there is no potable water, no trash and no tables. I have camped for free many times in this area and love to head up here for a quick overnight in the mountains here and there. The road to the sites is pretty well maintained and can usually be passed by passenger car”

“Gorgeous location. The perfect blend of rustic elegance. A wedding here would be stunning!!”

“Absolutely LOVE this camping spot. This was our second time here. This is BLM land no water, no electric, no dump, no trash. PACK OUT WHAT YOU PACK IN. There are so many spots to choose from with different views either trees or mountains. Nothing is level of course and the 2 mile drive in (we didn't go to far in) is pretty rough. We have a 25ft class c rv. I think just about any size would fit there are so many options.”

“Gets very crowded very quickly being so close to town. Recommend getting there early on the weekend. There are great clearings especially the further you go up. We stayed about 10k and found a nice spot. Not the worst road but would be more comfortable in something with some clearance. Dogs are allowed. A lot of trails throughout the road.”

“Great campground if you're looking for a paid site with toilets and water. The location is beautiful and there's even dispersed camping if you hike a bit back, along the river. The lady that tends the ground and takes payment is a bit strange and will talk your ear off, but she keeps the grounds nice and has firewood for sale and lots of great information!”

“Our extended family of 12 spent a week in June. Ages ranged from 8 to 81. We all had. Wonderful time. Meghan Scott and all their helpers run a wonderful place. Simply the best food horses and other adventures. White water rafting, fly fishing even golf if you wish. Kids loved their activities including rodeo and square dancing. Hope we can come back soon. You need to go”

“A wonderful little diamond in the rough. Arriving in Denver late we drove to Grant so we were out of the city traffic in the morning. Best decision ever, the room was super clean and the bed super comfy. The new owners are in the process of turning the Kenosha Lodge into an even more wonderful place!!! The owners Anastasia and Christopher are amazing and we arrived as guests and left as family! We have stayed twice and will be back again.”

“Wow, I think we found our absolute favorite campground in CO. Beautiful creek which is perfect for kids/dog/everyone. Surrounded by stunning rock outcroppings scenery. Stunning starry nights with the Milky Way visible due to elevation yet not freezing cold (in summer). Huge thanks to the hosts who got us out of a very sticky situation of a flat tire AND flat car battery (and no reception nor cell battery if we couldn't have fixed it!). Thank goodness for the niceness of strangers. Tip: the bathrooms by the bridge are much better than the outhouse-style bathroom on the loop. Use those. If you want to camp across the bridge, you have to park your car and walk in. We chose to car camp as walking to the creek only takes seconds anyway - but the drawback of these sites is no shade if you don't have your own awning/gazebo. Tons of people bring tubes to play on the water. Busy site but didn't feel cramped even full on Labor Day - IMO.”

“What a wonderful place! This dude ranch turned wedding venue is picture perfect. There's an abundance of staff there to meet your needs, answer your questions and take great care of you. There is the usual horseback riding you'd expect plus axe and knife throwing as well as shooting sports. A poll, hot tub and playground round out the features. It was also a beautiful place for a wedding with incredible views.”
