“We just had a weekend-long family reunion at The Fort and I was extremely impressed overall. From the beginning, Kindra and the rest of the staff were such a joy to work with. They were thorough, responsive, and so helpful in getting us set up! The venue itself is stunning and the views are unbeatable! Nothing like spending the day near the river, watching the longhorns, exploring, and ending the day with stunning sunsets. The kitchen was so well stocked and we had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large family! There’s plenty of space for everyone to lounge, play, visit, and relax. You really get more than your monies worth staying here! Thank you for hosting us for such an amazing weekend!”

“My time at Swan Meadow Bed and Breakfast was peaceful and rejuvenating. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The finishing and decor of the house took me back to another time in history. Each detail was carefully placed and fits so well; from a delicate Victorian lamp sitting on a dresser to a majestic peacock roaming the creek and calling through the trees. “Very nice. Modern facility. The bedding was soft and clean. That TV was enormous. I was disappointed the breakfast buffet was not being done in the on-site restaurant. They said it was due to low volume. The standard breakfast was good. Interesting but tasty hash browns. Only complaint was that I got a knife that had food stuck to it. The reservation person was hard to understand over the phone.”
