“Nick was my tech for today's job. I had a short somewhere in my house that caused an outage. First, he called me early asking if I minded him being early to the job. I of course wanted to get it resolved asap so I thought that was perfect. He spent overall about an hour at my house and quickly diagnosed the issue and explained it in great detail so that I could understand. After the time he spent with me the job itself was far less than competitors in the area for a simple visit so I was incredibly pleased. “Mikhail answered right away when I first called, and promptly showed up the same day in the time window he gave me. We called for a leak in our upstairs bathroom tub and shower that was dripping to the ceiling on the floor below. We were ready for the worst case news of having to cut out the wall behind our tub to access leaking plumbing. Mikhail showed up in a clean company vehicle, professionally dressed, and was very nice. After evaluating the situation, he deduced the problem was actually an insufficiently caulked plate /cover behind the main water control in the tub and shower. He took the cover off and immediately found the drain hole plugged and the seal erroded, along with inadequate caulking. Mikhail cleaned up the cover plate, made sure the drain hole was clear, then reinstalled and applied new caulking. He also verifed the piping behind the plate was, in fact, not leaking at all. We were prepared for the worst, but Mikhail and Best Choice Plumbing eased our minds with a quick and correct diagnosis that saved us a potential large plumbing bill. Mikhail charged us a very reasonable price for the repair, and I have verifed we no longer have a drip from the tub and shower. A big thank you to Mikhail and Best Choice Plumbing! We would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future, as needed.”

“Kastanek Plumbing is the only plumber I use for all of my plumbing needs - both for our home as well as our numerous investment properties. His prices are reasonable, and he genuinely cares about the quality of his work. When we've had a leak that required cutting into drywall, he's made the holes in such a way that the drywall is easily repaired afterwards by my handyman. If things get messy, he always tidies up behind himself. We've used him to install several hot water heaters now - at least five. As we have a vacancy, we're updating all of the shut off valves to the newer quarter turn style. IN some cases, there's no shut off's and we've had them installed. He's had to move two claw foot tubs to do this very thing, and those suckers are heavy! He's replaced several toilets and connected all the plumbing after we've replaced counters and cabinetry. He's also the guy we call when the gas stove's have to be re-connected after new flooring has been installed. Kastanek Plumbing gets a full five star rating from us!”
