My kids loved it there. They were really into seeing the mine and the furnaces.
(June 16, 2018, 4:07 pm)This was a great place to visit on a beautiful day. We enjoyed walking on the trails around the preserve and also enjoyed seeing the remnants of the buildings from the past. My son enjoyed hunting for quartz rocks around the buildings and along the trails. We'll be back again sometime! Only problem is the road to the parking area is a little narrow, but if everyone drives carefully, it isn't a problem.
