“Trumbull is a beautiful town and Twin Brooks is a perfect example of what Trumbull is about. Families gather in this beautiful park with a pond, a river streams, fields, trails and playgrounds. You will see fathers and mothers fishing with their kids, young couples walking hand and hand, kids playing soccer, older folks sitting on the many benches, runners and walkers. Norman Rockwell couldn't have illustrated a "home town" any better.”

Address: Hollow Rd, Woodbury, CT 06798, USA
“Hollow Park is a lovely place with a well built playground composed of two separate areas - one for little ones and one for older kids. The only problem is that the sign in the parking lot indicated different areas for the age groups with each designated as such, but at the time of our visit the two playgrounds hadn't been marked. It's clear which is for each age group, but some people seemed to need the designation.”

“A great place to hike. A bit steeper than I remembered it from our first visit. Wish there was an online trail map though.”

“I have gone to seaside since I was a kid. I've always loved how nice it looked, plenty open space, the large soccer fields where you could host baseball too. The saltiness of the air. Along with that whipping breeze. Plus you have a good chance seeing some horses towards the back. Only issue.. The water quality. I swear Every time you go in that water it's like Poseidon is tickling the bottom of your feet. Plus you can never see what's touching you so you freak out. seaweed? A crab? Who knows you're too busy running out anyway lol.”
