Augustine Inn Seafood & Chop House

We live about 7 minutes away and have been here at least a dozen times. It was always amazing, but the last 2 or 3 times have been a bit disappointing. The staff has always been a bit of a revolving door, but recently that has affected the food and service quality. Hoping they improve again, as they're our favorite hang out spot for happy hour or a nice meal after work!

Some of the BEST food in DE, I swear by it! The crab bisque is to die for and so unique compared to others I've had; it comes topped with roasted corn and bacon aka YUM. Everytime I've ordered their salmon it was cooked to perfection - you know, that crispy crust but juicy center. Amazing. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place. Hats off to the staff for their exceptional service (especially during these times) and most importantly, hats off to the chef for never, and I mean NEVER, failing to whip up quite honestly some of the best food I've ever tasted! Run, don't walk!!!

First time dining here and it was SO good! Our hostess was very friendly, and our server Camryn was knowledgeable, accommodating and super helpful! She came back to check on us multiple times, never faltering in her energy or positivity. Your kitchen was amazing in providing a safe meal for my many food allergies. We will definitely be back!

Food is beautifully prepared. I had the scallops with risotto which were perhaps the best I have ever tasted.
There were 7 in our party and everyone raved about their choices as well.
The only criticisms were about the noise level and how the 7 of us were squeezed into a spot better suited for 4 or 5 people. Prices were a little high but the food was so good we could overlook that. Service was very good as well.

Beautiful location. Superb food. Excellent service. Expensive, but worth every penny. Best fillet and lobster I've ever eaten!
