“Oh my gosh! This has to be the best ice cream I have ever eaten! The location is great because of the vegetable "stand" on the other side of the building. They offer a nice variety of flavors and cones (you can have it in a cup if you prefer!) One of the things that impressed me was the doggie frozen treats! Definitely a good place to stop!”

“We stopped for some produce on the way to Rehoboth Beach. There are a number of produce stations on the way, but Donnie's seems to be the last one of any size and variety before you hit Route One bedlam. We bought some wonderful fresh tomatoes, excellent yellow corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, and crispy green beans. On a whim we bought an apple pie that proved to be the best we had eaten in years: lots of apple slices, nice cinnamon, and very little goop filler or lard. Overall the best stand we have found between the bridge and the beach, and we have been doing this since 1981.”
