“These folks know their birds! I have a bird that was bred and born at M&D, an African grey - though I got my bird from the previous owner. M&D offers boarding and grooming options for pet birds. They also sell birds (though I have never purchased a bird here, so I cannot speak to that). They have toys, treats, and cages as well. My experience is primarily with boarding, which seems fine. They also have grooming options, when boarding - which is quite helpful as there are limited options for boarding and grooming birds in the Salisbury area. However, I have found that I need to call ahead to make sure my bird was groomed as the grooming request has been forgotten on a couple of occasions. This isn't a big deal... just need to keep it in mind as we travel. I also wish they were closer to my home - right now a one-way drive to M&D from where I live is an hour drive.”

Or, have you ever wanted to meet someone like Lady Macbeth, Jane Eyre, or Anna Karenina that required a tome of epic proportions to explain? Call Marge!! She will spend as much time with you as you need. Ask any question and she has an answer that even a neophyte such as I can understand. In a bad cell reception area she will e-mail or text you to continue the conversation because to her there is nothing worse then a customer with an unanswered question. She loves what she does and it shows. No high pressure sales tactics here. Please call her--you are doing yourself a disservice not. Just for that once in a lifetime experience. Oh and the prices here--knock your socks off good!”

“M&D Bird World always has everything we need. When I don't feel like driving, I only have to go to their website and place my order which I get in one or two days. (Depending on the time I placed an order) Their selection of birds allows for something for everyone. We last chose our "Pepper" who had been hand raised. Actually he chose us. Pepper has been a joy. Free flights around the house and loves spending time with his human flock. Actually he has a very extensive English vocabulary... Enough that he is able to say the appropriate things at the right time. Check out M&D Bird World and keep your eyes open for the one that chooses you!”

Randy returned our call within hours and the next day came out to review the job and provide us with an estimate. Within a week, the job was finished. We then had a screen porch built and knew because of the attention to detail and responsiveness Randy provided on the first job, that he was the person we wanted for this job.
