“This place is an amazing piece of history. They have some really interesting artillery and it is a great place for kids to learn to learn. My son got to stand in the barracks where his great grandfather slept before shipping off to Italy as an MP. I'm incredibly grateful that it has been preserved and that I was able to share the experience with my family!”

“Best campground ever! The bathrooms are individual rooms with a sink, toilet, and shower. Everything about the campground was clean and well maintained. The campground is one of the few open in the winter so this was a great winter camping destination! This park is an awesome mix of historical sites and natural beauty. Also, the nature center is a must see with touch tanks and anaquarium. I highly recommend this park!”

“Just recently bought a skim board from them, the price was awesome! The help was awesome! Every person that walked past me asked if I would like some help on prices or fitment, I will definitely be coming back soon for all of my skim board and surfing needs!!”

“We went specifically for the "Seining the bay" activity. Our 5 year old daughter loved it. This type of activity is right up her alley, so maybe other children wouldn't enjoy it as mush as she did... I would recommend going and learning about the local inhabitants of the Delaware Bay. The two young ladies who led the activity were very knowledgeable and friendly with all of the children. You stand in line and wait until the center opens at 9, buy tickets, and then walk about 1/2 mile to the beach. They did 4 passes through the water, put the creatures in the kiddie pool, and then talked about the individual species. It lasts a little over an hour. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was worth the price, in my opinion.”

“Its a typical old car ferry. Very similar to the port jefferson ferry to CT ferry. There is not much to see since both side you only see water. Not much to do on the boat for an hour. There is only standard school style food for sell. I just wish they put more stuff on sell on the boat.”

“They have a great burger and love their fish and chips. It's fun to watch the ferry come in. There is a cute playground and mini-putt course. Looking forward to the summer to sit outside there.”
