(August 28, 2018, 12:26 pm)Easy access from RT 1. Much easier to take the bus and pass all that backed up traffic into Rehoboth Beach. You can also travel to Lewes, Georgetown, Dewey, Bethany, etc. And yes, you can haul all your beach stuff on board within reason. Rehoboth bus will drop you off at the bandstand. Buses run late, too. DART is expanding service and building a small pavilion, too.
(July 21, 2018, 8:03 am)I love the all-new Lewes Transit Center & Park and Ride in Lewes, Delaware in Sussex County! It's sizable and very clean and plenty of free parking! I'm not sure if there are any public restrooms for travelers, but there are charging stations for electric vehicles on site. It's a cool place to catch a DART bus to the Tanger Outlets, Rehoboth Beach, or any other places that may be on your agenda! Good job, DART with the Lewes Transit Center & Park and Ride!
