“Great vibe, great cocktails. Quality bartending staff--sampled all but one of the drinks on the base menu (as of 11/18) and all were good. I don't remember the name of the one I liked best but it had rye and amaro and was deliciously smoky and bitter tasting. "Off menu" versions of regular cocktails (Manhattan, negroni) were also well executed. I didn't try the grilled cheese but had some of my friend's Brussels sprouts and they were very good. Seems sort of random for a place like this to have good Brussels sprouts but hey, a lot of places you would except to have good sprouts have very bad sprouts. Overall a fun place with good drinks [and good Brussels sprouts].”

“I’ve been seeing Dr. Numsuwan off and on since 2013 for lumbar back pain and I can unequivocally say he’s one of the best physicians in the DMV area in any specialty. His bedside manner is unparalleled - truly unbelievable. He’s polite and treats you like a peer, taking the time to (non-condescendingly) explain complex problems and procedures. His memory is another “Numsuwan Superpower” that’s always blown me away. Not only does he remember every procedure and treatment we’ve done but he also casually references seemingly mundane conversational tangents or details of my life that we’ve discussed years prior. He works with pain management and has a variety of “tools” in his arsenal to attempt to make your situation better. From structural evaluation, to high precision injections, to medication his breadth of treatment options is impressive. He’s highly knowledgable, highly skilled, and willing to think outside the box which make for a deadly trifecta.”

“I have been coming to this store pretty frequently ever since I moved to Logan Circle circa 2017. Cork and Fork establishment has a meticulous selection from many of the prominent old wine regions (From Chianti, Tuscany, Bordeaux, even Georgian) to the new regions from Chile, SA etc. Dominique (or end with c), Anna and Antoinette are subject matter experts in their wine domain. Dominique specializes in champagne in particular and Anna more in the aesthetics and overall structure of anything in the store. So they know their stuff fairly well and if you are someone who needs something within a certain price range of a certain body and age, be sure to ask and you shall receive. Over years, I have loved speaking to them in more detail about wine (considering I am more of a dilettante) and have always been rewarded by what they managed to pull out of shelf on every occasion. I think there was only one such rare occasion that I didn't like what was recommended and Anna later gave me another bottle free of cost which I remember to being decent compared to the former. So I highly recommend Cork and Fork for any wine enthusiasts of any level of matured palate and even if you are on a budget (there is a 4 bottles for $44 special, can't be beat even by the cheapest selection from Joes or Whole foods).”

“A friend who was visiting from out of town and I dined at Guapo’s a couple of weeks ago. We both remarked at the large portion sizes. We could have ordered one dish and shared 😀. The food was good and so was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was quite busy on the day we dined but we were seated promptly and served within a reasonable amount of time. The wait staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely dine here again.”
