“Nancy is an excellent piano instructor with a plethora of music education tools and decades of meaningful experience. If she accepts you as a student, take it. She can teach you to fly (pianistically)! She is truly an asset to the DMV music scene.”

“I’m no great fan of chain pharmacies in general, and this Walgreens location is not remotely convenient to where I live now. But I go through a monthly gauntlet of interminable hold music trying to find pharmacies that gave my medication in stock, and this Walgreens is where I go when all the other pharmacies have failed me. When I’m at the very end of my rope, tired of the bureaucracy and the system and frustrated after hours on hold, I’m wildly grateful for their pharmacy’s prompt, no-nonsense professionalism. I never learned the names of the women that I spoke to both on the phone and at the counter today and in prior months, but I sincerely appreciate their help. I have and will continue to drive more than an hour to this Walgreens because they have come through for me more often than any other pharmacy.”

“JR added a full front porch and rear dormer addition to our house. They came in with a very competitive estimate. They were great to work with and very responsive to the final design that we wanted. They were very thorough with any suggestions that they thought would complement our design. They were great about maintaining a clean work space. They made sure to clean up everything at the end of each day. Since they began working on the porch we have had countless neighbors that we've never seen before stopping by to look at the house, commenting and asking questions. We will be sure to call them for any future projects.”

“Delicious treats, great for a nice cool treat on a warm day. Staff was nice and patient, and even gave us an extra little tasting spoon so our little one could try some as well. The line had a few people in it but the staff were quick to serve and keep things moving. Flavors were delicious, I enjoyed the espresso and cookies and creme and my wife had almond and pink grapefruit, all of which were enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend if you're out for a stroll on the waterfront!”

“I have to give credit where credit is due, and I happed to be in the pharmacy today so it's the perfect time. I had run into a very serious problem with the previous pharmacy that zi was associated with, and I was unfortunately out if the area and unable to deal with the problem in person. The e previous pharmacy is one of the big box pharmacies in the country. For the excuse of Covid, they all-of-the-sudden stopped providing delivery service for medications. I had been relying on the is delivery service for years, and without much if a real explanation I was told by the pharmacist that this option was no longer available to me. It irks me how so many establishments still use Covid as an excuse for the reasons why they suck! The medication that I needed was vital for me to continue to live, and I was sort-of stressed by the fact that this big box pharmacy that starts with a "C" just didn't want to send me my meds. Finally after getting nowhere with my insurance company, I called this pharmacy. Ed who is the Pharmacy Manager here quickly and efficiently resolved the situation for me. He was able to transfer all of my information to this pharmacy and then have the medication mailed to me. The entire process turned out to be way more helpful than I had ever imagined. Thanks Ed and this pharmacy!”

“WOW! I had the mushroom calamari, sautéed spinach, and a chocolate adult milkshake - yum!. I took a gluten-free chocolate cupcake to go. WOW!! The cupcake was the best I’ve ever, the most flavorful dark chocolate cake, truly amazing!! Don't miss this fantastic vegan spot.”

“While at the zoo, my son and I got hungry. There wasn’t a ton of options for kids. My kid loves pizza, so that’s what he got. It was 8 for combo of pizza and chips. Other options they have include breadsticks or fries. The drink isn’t included. I ended up getting him a Gatorade from vending machine for $3 vs a foundation drink they sold it for $4. There was a long, which to be expected but it moved at a decent pace. They did have an express lane. My kid enjoyed the pizza.”

“Picture Frame Factory is great! They are always on time, if not early, with framing projects, and they offer reliable, excellent work. We've had several odd requests (having graffiti canvasses framed, oddly sized custom prints, etc.), and Picture Frame Factory always does a wonderful job. For the latest piece, he even added a custom (and very large!) mat for our piece at no additional charge. He also helped me get it into the Uber XL I had to order to get it home. This is a really fantastic shop, and they've helped our house become a home. We're running out of wall space, but we'll be back when we up-size!”

“My experience at CVS was awesome. Something happened with a vaporizer that I bought there (the issue was my fault), and they made it right, on the spot. The people working there were extremely awesome. My girlfriend bought replacement coils for her vape, and they cleaned her tank out and installed the coil. Very friendly, chill and awesome people. I'll definitely be coming back to this spot!!!”

“Great place to stop by after the zoo to grab a quick bite. The bagel sandwiches are around $6 and baked goods are around $4 each. Overall a decent place with vegan and gluten-free options. Nut-free and kosher if that’s also a concern for you. They had cute zoo-themed cake pops here and if you want a cute panda pop then this is the place for you. I tried their southwestern sandwich on an everything bagel and it was tasty and big enough that you’re full but not overly stuffed. I also tried their cookie bar and it was okay, though I wish I would’ve gone with their raspberry bar instead (maybe next time).”

“Great organization. The magic shop is a social enterprise storefront with limited magic inventory, yet great for some magic gifts. Proceeds go to support 826DC, a writing center for talented and aspiring DC authors. You can purchase books from the authors in the Magic Supply storefront, as well. Five stars”

“I recently stayed at a hotel near this Walgreens. It has three floors. The too floor has fancy items and brand name products. The lower floor has all the everyday stuff I needed. The one think I was looking for were prepackaged sandwiches which they didn’t have. The whole cooler was empty and blocked with tape. It looks like they have a sushi bar that is opened during the day. Unfortunately, the two times went there was late at night. The customer service was pretty decent. The cashiers and floor stockers were friendly.”

“The Glass Station provided impeccable, timely, and efficient service. My 740 BMW was vandalized. Glass was everywhere! The dealership and other companies were unable to secure the glass needed immediately. I would have had to wait a week. Glass Station repaired my window in less than 24 hours. Cleaned all of the glass up. My car was immaculate and working perfectly when the job was done and it only took him 30 minutes! I highly recommend this company!!”

“I give this 3.5 stars. They are in a great location with great stuff in the store, and awesome hours (9:30AM-1AM). The line is never too bad or slow, and the people at the front are pretty nice. I do think that they could be a bit friendlier instead of just talking to each other. There doesn't really need to be two people behind the desk. My only complaints are that they often run out of stuff and don't restock for a while, and once they way overcharged me for the wrong products that I didn't buy. Also, the sandwiches could be a bit better. They're like mediocre cold cuts that have been in the fridge too long. However, it's so much better than the alternative of going to a convenience store in georgetown (vittles is right next to my dorm!) so I give it a 4 instead of a 3. Also, everything is super affordable.”
