“The National Cathedral is a place of solemn worship and meditation, and the cozy, rustic environment of the Open City Cafe is a meaningful addition to it. It also provides amazing coffees, pastries and paninis, if you're seeking earthly nourishment instead of just spiritual fulfillment, and they're really good at it. While there is no table service, they do bring the food to your table, and they use fresh ingredients as far as I can tell. Highly recommend, for either a coffee or lunch proper.”

“It was a warm Monday afternoon. We wanted to eat outdoors and knew Nicks was the spot. They have a prime location on gtown waterfront and have a huge space both inside and out, along with a nice bar area outside with sofa seating. Was able to get seats outside facing the waterfront. Service was great, had someone come to us often. The food is good but very expensive. It was $150 for both of us without any alcohol. You pay for being in Georgetown, waterfront, and post pandemic prices.”

“I live in a two bedroom here and love it! Although we got a decent rent deal due to COVID, it still seems fairly affordable after chatting with some new residents. Management is friendly & responsive. Amenities are simple but nice. The property is clean and well cared for. The views from the roof-decks are pretty sweet too.”

“Great experience! Really enjoyed the electric eel exhibit. Really informative exhibit about the frogs of Panama and the Chytrid fungus. The largest spider in the world resides in the Amazon.....why no exhibit about the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula? 🤷🏾♂️”

“The place was a madhouse, but it was pre-concert. There are 3 levels with a bar and plenty of table seatings on the upper levels. The servers were as busy as any could be and I still think they did great. The pizza is excellent - very fresh and many fancy ingredients to choose from. They also have pastas and many other choices. Looking around at other people’s dishes - everything looked good.”

“Rock Creek Park Horse Center is an oasis within the city. Deep in Rock Creek Park is a property full of stables and fields. There are 57 horses in the stable. Half are private, but the other half are used for the public. They offer riding lessons and on weekends they have pony rides for kids as young as 2.5 years old. If you're hiking by, you can enter the public stables to see the horses and ponies. You can't pet the horses, but the staff are so friendly and will give you the story of each horse. Once you see the horses, I recommend hiking through Rock Creek Park and visit the nearby Capitol Stones.”

“The best museum food I've ever seen. We were just trying to get a quick bite during our museum visit but when we saw the menu we had to order a full meal. We had the ribs with coleslaw and potato salad plus chicken tenders with fries. Everything was beyond delicious! Restaurant quality food. We would come back here just to eat again. There's a lot of seating available and the menu truly has something for everybody. We highly recommend checking out the museum and if you're there do Not skip this cafe.”

“Really solid spot overall. Excellent cocktails (the Spanish Magic was perfectly balanced), finger-licking good skewers (sampled both the chicken thighs and the pork and they were dusted perfectly with the rub), tender and well grilled and seasoned eggplant, and competent sashimi. I would say the sashimi was the only thing that could use some improvement, it just wasn't as fresh as what you would expect for a $52 12-piece. I think you're better off getting a few small plates and a couple of maki rolls here. We dined in the cozy and dimly basement at the sushi bar. It's got a cool feel to it though others might find it a bit too cramped. Service was wonderful, our hostess was very friendly and helpful throughout the night.”
