“It couldn’t have gone better! My almost 3 year old was happy the whole time. Especially loved how everything was shown to her on her hand first so she could be prepared. And that she was always given a chance to say no. I already sent all my parent friends the details because it was such a great experience. Looking forward to going back.”

“My mother rehabilitated here after total hip replacement and I have nothing but gratitude and respect for the excellent care she received. The skilled nursing staff was professional and caring, the social and cultural activities were of a very high quality, the food was delicious and nutritious and the onsite a Physical and Occupational therapy facility was so convenient and expertly staffed. Thanks to everyone at Forest Hills for providing a real home to the residents and short termers as well.”

“Good food at Museum prices. For example my burger, fries, water, and brownie was about 28 dollars. Think how much delivery would cost, per person, but likely cheaper with membership. Not bad but I prefer the food I can get at the Native American museum.”

“I am 55 now and went to Horace Mann Elementary School until 4th grade. It is so good to see it still doing well. I talked to a father that said it is one of the top Elementary Schools in the city. I believe when I went there it was one of the 1st to have students bused into it. We love the new class mates and I remember getting along very well. My friend Farris also when to Mann and his kids did as well. I heard that they had the same 4th grade teach that we did Mrs. Jackson. I remember visiting the school years ago and was so excited to see Mrs. Jackson still teach there. One of the highlights of the school is that we have recesses several times and got to play outside in the large field. I see now that the school is expanding. Will have to come back when it is done.”

“Great organization. The magic shop is a social enterprise storefront with limited magic inventory, yet great for some magic gifts. Proceeds go to support 826DC, a writing center for talented and aspiring DC authors. You can purchase books from the authors in the Magic Supply storefront, as well. Five stars”

“Great staff , friendly atmosphere take care of all your needs and if you need an emergency appt. You really get an emergency appt the same day or next day depending on you because they are always available. I personally feel they need a raise just dealing with ignorance of some of there patients.”

“Amazing. Went for the first time yesterday after a long work day and even more errands. I got salmon and spinach with chickpeas to-go and it made my day. As I left the restaurant thanking the man at the counter, he said "yes, see you tomorrow!" with a chuckle, and me with mine. As I left the doors I thought, I couldn't come every day but I'd love for this to taste that good so I'd crave it... and it did. It was enough food for 2.15 meals for me and was just great. I reheated it in the oven with some olive oil and lemon and mixed veggies just now. Ask for yogurt sauce. Ask for more. I had a left over cucumber/mayo/Sriracha +soy sauce concoction that I added on the side. Great comfort food. Thank you Food Corner!”

“Love this restaurant! Management (Roger) and service (Marquise) is excellent!! Such an improvement! They made sure we were well taken care of and checked in frequently. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. The charbroiled oysters were excellent - and the drinks were generous just like I love it. We were seated immediately and had top notch service from start to finish. Highly recommend going here. Looking forward to returning for brunch!”

“Rooted has had such a positive impact on my daughter. I can’t recommend Mya enough. Her nature therapy platform is dynamic and unique. She has helped my daughter with chronic stress (tummy aches and headaches), with core strength, gross and fine motor skills, and so much more. She is also incredibly attentive and makes an effort to personalize the experience depending on the child’s needs. She’s responsive, informative, and supportive. I’m so grateful I found this amazing program.”
