“I was just visiting my sister in DC and came across signs for this dance school. I have been interested in trying out Irish dance for a while now, so I thought I would give a class a try (they offer a first class for free!). The class I took was Celtic Fit which is combo Irish step dance with fitness moves. I was blown away by how much fun I had! In addition to being a great workout (wow those steps are challenging!), it was so much fun and the instructor (his name is Joe, supposedly he used to tour with Riverdance) made the entire class experience lively and engaging. I wish District Irish Dance was closer to me, otherwise I would totally try out one of their weekly class programs! Now I'm just trying to convince my sister to sign up!”

Once inside, you can find thousands of books, DVDs, and plenty of seating to read. They also have small conference rooms and private working offices for those who need intense quiet. They have a computer lab for free for people to check their emails and do work requiring the Internet. They host a variety of community events and even have a Capital Bikeshare just outside the front door to encourage commuting.”

“Peaches Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in the nation's capital for authentic West Indian cuisine. Firstly, it is clean. Secondly everything on the menu is available, fresh, and simply delicious. The food is well seasoned. Finally, the portion sizes are perfect for my appetite. No tricks or fillers, you get what you are actually paying for and your money's worth. Ms. Peaches is super busy but always pleasant under the tremendous pressures of managing a restaurant. Overall, staff are nice. It is hard finding consistently good people. In the year that I have been dining at the restaurant the staff can be a warm welcoming hit or a indifferent transactional miss. I hope that this establishment will be a staple in this transient city that will be around for centuries! I love the food here and Ms. Peaches vision.”
